The metalic thread is beautiful and strong.

Easy to thread into sewing machine. Standard thread weight but showed up when using decorative zigzag stitch.

Thread is pretty, however it's a lot thinner than I expected. I even double it but it's not as shown as I would've liked. Since it's so thin it tends to break more easily also. Might purchase in a different color and see if there's any difference. Prob not but it's worth a shot..

I ordered a set of 5 metallic thread spools to use for card making. 4 appear to be perfectly fine. However, the black one arrived partially unraveling. Not too bad; it is salvageable since it is not being used to sew, though there will be some loss. It is disappointing though. Not enough of an issue to return but disappointing enough to warrant 3 out of 5 stars.

I use a multitude of threads for leatherwork. This thread here is sooo not what I thought. Yes I was looking for a silver thread. However, for you to see the silver in this thread you have to utilize 10X the amount expected to see the silver. This thread is so thin that you can't use it in one application for anything and see the silver in it as a stich.
