This is a great lamp. It really does look nice. I was looking for a real antique but realized the electrical cords on most were questionable and I wanted to be able to plug it in. Very easy to assemble as well.

I’m pleased with the overall look and quality and weight of this lamp. Easy to assemble and has a very sturdy base. I did change the lampshade only because I wanted a different shape than what came with it. There’s nothing wrong with the original lampshade at all, I just wanted a different shape. I needed a light for that corner and this lamp fills that need and goes well with the decor.

Absolutely beautiful! I’m so happy the base is heavy without having anything attached to the underside. Super easy to assemble. No tools needed!

I am very happy with this lamp. It arrived on time, was easy to assemble, and fits beautifully in a corner of a bedroom for supplemental warm light. It requires lightbulb that is not included but I happened to have one with a soft warm light. It is solid, attractive and it works. I would not put a pole lamp in a traffic area, but this is in a corner by a wall and looks great.

Pros: see all ratings above. Cons: poor shade, will need to get another. I had searched for a vintage looking lamp and discovered this “Mid-Century Antique”. Good look from close up or a few feet back. The brown shades of resin, nicely compliment the rustic look of the lamp. And for the money, it's a really wonderful deal. Received within a three days. I couldn’t believe how easy this was to assemble – screw several of the pole pieces together and it’s done. Color, height, as advertised. Base is heavy enough to keep the lamp steady. I bought this to add a Victorian shade to it, but the shade it came with is sufficient if you’re looking for a bright light. Personally, I found it to be too small for the lamp and fairly worthless. I feel like the company expects customers to look for an alternative. I’ve had troubles with cheap lights that came with a step-on switch, but this lamp has a rotary, turn switch, simple, easy. I have this in my den, and it would be a fine addition to a finished basement, or of course a living room, family room, bedroom.

This a very nice floor lamp with a nice lamp shade. It is replacing a more expensive lamp that I had for years. However, this lamp looks very nice and is the right size and design, situated next to a wingback chair! A good purchase!

It is high quality, and the assembling is easy, too. I had Japan send it
