Ordered lot of 3; received today. Will most certainly order more. Fabric is old and soft, and the colors vibrant and beautiful. Patterns are different for each. Every blanket is unique in its own right. The blankets authentically smell of India. Washing blankets now. Smell will not deture me from purchasing more. Just wash them, as you would any other new thing you're bringing into your home. Blankets are well enough made, although stitching is a little poor in some places. Great authentic blankets for the cost. Update: 2nd order is just as great. I ordered 5 this time. Blankets are all the same sizes. Some have stains or small rips, but that just adds character. Same smell. I would recommend soaking and washing twice, and adding baking soda to the load. I also used essential oils in the dryer to help with the odor. All blankets washed and dried beautifully. Blankets are really beautiful, unique, and soft.

I ordered 10 and each one is amazing!!! No duds and they do not have an odor. Of course I wash them a couple of times and trim any thread tails, but they are all tied off, so it’s just excess thread. They are soft, smell good, and the color combos are SO fun. I wash on hot and dry with heat and they are fine. The fabric is vintage/worn, so it doesn’t shrink. The thickness is like two sheets sewn together and no filler, so they are a good weight for the summer, watching TV, picnic blankets, the beach, keep in the car, use for yoga mats, cover cushions and sofas, hang on the wall, use as a curtain or hang in a doorway, protect surfaces from pets, a tablecloth, use as a rug or floor blanket. Bulk is the way to go, you’ll def want more than a couple. Make great gifts, too.

I read the views and was a little hesitant to purchase these. As it turns out all three of these are gorgeous. I see no issues with the fabric or the stitching. Both sides are beautiful. And some people commented about some kind of a musty smell. Mine do not smell musty at all. I got three fabulous kanthas and I feel guilty about the low price that I paid.

I was hesitant to order after reading so many bad reviews on other sites about stains, smells, or them being dirty. This is my second order of the 3 pack and both came promptly and had a very nice assortment of colors/patters with no stains or odors. I washed them 3 times and dried on extra low heat. They came out beautiful and I love each of them. I plan to give 3 away as gifts after I choose my favorites. I am pleasantly surprised and have sent this link to a few friends who have ordered as well. The only reason for the 4 stars is that a couple of the patch pieces are a bit thicker in just those areas. This is on 2 of 6 blankets. Not a deal breaker in any way but I wish they were the same thin cotton material on entire blanket. I definitely recommend.

I ordered three of these quilts. I love the colors and fabric of them. they are well made and look great. The problem is they were extremely dirty when they came to me… I opened the plastic and could just smell the dirt and grime. I spent probably two hours washing these by hand in my tub. The water was brown and full of dirt for many washings. They are beautiful but be prepared for some work or dry cleaning.

These are intended to be lightweight and strong. They’re not intended to be thick, stuffed, heavy quilts. I love mine, I bought 3 and gave one to my mom. I also have more but not from this seller. These are 100% unique, beautiful, and perfect for summer time. No problems washing on delicate or casual. Smell was fine, didn’t have any odd chemical odors like some companies, they just smelled like a new blanket, and I am very sensitive to smells. They’re so soft, and the material is gorgeous. HIGHLY recommend as a gift for your boho friends and family.

I purchased 2 kantha blankets from this seller. They’re not my 1st Kantha blanket purchases, but they are my 1st from this seller. I know that they are vintage fabric & most of the time used sari fabric that’s been cut up & recycled. So I’m prepared for patches & old pre-owned fabric that’s been sewn together. What I wasn’t prepared for was graffiti on 1 of my blankets! It’s not even just small writing, it’s large letters in black ink that is 10 inches long & a little over 3 inches high. I cannot even understand what it says. Don’t get me wrong these are very pretty prints that I’ve received, & of course the 1 with the black ink written on it is the prettier 1, that’s just my luck! They’re also very soft. The kantha stitches are really not that great, but at the same time these blankets didn’t cost a whole lot of money, so ya pay for what you get. They did have a bit of a smell to them when I took them out of the box, not terribly bad but still not very pleasant. But that did go away after washing. They are perfect for lightweight summer blankets for the bed, note that they are not warm at all but they’re not supposed to be. They would also be great for picnics, or at the beach, to keep in the car, to use as a tapestry, or to even drape over your couch, plus many many more things. I would’ve been much happier with this purchase if my 1 blanket didn’t have huge writing on it. Nobody would be happy about that. I’m actually really worried to shop here again not only because of my not so great experience but also because of now reading the reviews that are saying that some people are receiving blankets with swastika prints on them. I get that it’s an Indian symbol but it’s also a swastika symbol, & I think that it’s just in very poor taste & that they should not even be mailed out to anyone ever. When purchasing from this company I’m guessing that it’ll either be a hit or miss, mine was a miss. Thanks for taking the time to read my review

I was a little concerned about what would arrive but I am pleasantly surprised with my blankets. I wanted something light for outside evenings and they’re perfect. Colours are fine. One is a bit too orange but the reverse side is great. Overall happy and can’t beat the price.

Honestly better than I expected from reading other reviews. A few people mentioned not getting the bright colours (as pictured in the Amazon listing) and a bad smell from the fabric, but that has not been my experience. The colours are gorgeous and the fabric is that soft “worn-in” texture (soft without being threadbare). There are a couple small holes and loose threads on two of the three I received, but I expected that with the style of blanket and so I am not taking any stars off for that. I feel that they come with character (as upcycled fabrics do), which I totally love. The smell was no worse than any other fabric items received from most retailers (online especially) and with a run thru the washer (gentle cycle) and the dryer (low heat) the blankets are ready to use. This is the same treatment for any new fabrics coming into the house so was not any extra work for me personally. Already ordered more to set aside for Christmas gifts, it probably won’t be my last order!

Know that these throws are folded specifically in order to take a nice photo showing off the single strip of colour on each throw. They are predominantly washed out, clashing, muddy colours with a single strip of colour. Which, btw, are not the predominant colours. Unlike others who’ve mentioned a smell, I have not noticed anything at all. None. I purchased a pack of 3 throws and 2 of them were primarily beige (prints) with only a strip of colour as shown in the Amazon preview photos. The 3rd throw is primarily red on both sides. The beige throws happens to have lots of thread ends along one edge. Having said that …. (B) They are all soft and cozy. [iii] They launder very well and come out of the dryer soft and wrinkle free. 1.These are each nice enough as an outdoor blanket and I will begrudgingly keep and use them all. In the car or picnic or on bench at baseball etc. Four. These are def a handmade quilt. 5. Both my husband and myself have come to like these quilts. Just not this selection of fabric. Not nice at all These quilts are very soft and cozy and they will all be used in some way. Outside. Car, towel, picnic , sports throw.
