When shopping for a Garmin Edge mount for an MTB, stay away from aluminium mounts. I have aluminium mounts on my road bikes, but use only softer plastic ones on MTBs. Why? Crashing on a road bike is an accident. Crashing on an MTB is part of the MTB business. When you hit your mounted Garmin on anything, what do you want to break: the plastic mount for a few bucks, or the locking disk inside the Garmin, which will cost you a lot to repair? This. Use sacrificial mounts on MTB, but not to the point of being flimsy. This one holds the device perfectly, and at the same time breaks easy enough to save your Edge. Installing a replacement takes about 3 minutes. Most functional mount out there, I use them all the time.

Für mein Garmin GPSMap 66s habe ich eine stabile Fahrradhalterung gesucht. Die Originalhalterung von Garmin wird mit 2 Kabelbindern am Lenker befestigt. Das ist nichts für die Dauer. Die Tusita Halterung wird verschraubt und es sind 2 Unterlegbänder, ein dünnes und ein dickes, dabei. So hatte ich keine Probleme, die Halterung an meinem Lenker zu befestigen. Die ganze Halterung macht einen stabilen Eindruck und ist gut verarbeitet. Zu der Halterung muss dann noch die eigentliche Gerätehalterung mitbestellt werden. Diese wird ebenfalls mit der Fahrradhalterung verschraubt. So ist ein sichere stabile Befestigung gegeben. Kein verdrehen des Garmin Gerätes mehr. Das hatte ich öfters mit der Kabelbinderversion. Ich bin top zufrieden damit.
