EDIT: I know it has been well over a month by now but I thought I would write my update anyway! So, i have continued using the shampoo and conditioner 1-2 times per week and the serum when I remember in the evenings although now it’s probably only 3 times per week, if even. I feel the same about the washing experience as before- i really like the formula. In terms of hair growth, I feel as though my hair line has improved. There are definitely baby hairs now that weren’t there 6 months ago. In terms of my pony thickness, i can’t say that has improved much. But styling is better these days due to the volume the products add. Overall, i will continue to use it and buy it when on offer. I still give this product 4/5 stars!I bought the serum and the shampoo with conditioner as my hair has been thinning gradually over a year. It is now half as thick as it was before (judging by pony/plait thickness to touch) and my hairline is receding. My derm is investigating me for lupus but I’m trying this in the meantime as it’s really getting me down. I’ve only shampooed twice but used the serum every day. The shampoo and conditioner are nice to use and left my hair feeling clean and volumised. I use the serum at night. When applied, it has sort of a slightly more watery egg white texture and leaves hair looking wet/greasy at the roots. Once I wake up, it has dried completely with no residue and leaves my hair feeling fresh and full of volume again. It doesn’t irritate my scalp (although I have some sort of irritation) and doesn’t cause flaking or build up even after 4 applications between washes. Looking forward to seeing if it actually stimulates hair growth and how long the product lasts since my hair is down to the small of my back! Will update in a month or so!

I applied this caffeine serum to my scalp before washing as I was not comfortable with just leaving it on throughout the day and at some points, I felt the back of my head stinging quite a bit. It got pretty painful but after a few minutes, it went away. I noticed some difference in my roots after washing, maybe not growth, I haven't tried it enough for that but I did see changes, I would recommend but the same stinging might be an issue for other buyers, it really depends on the sensitivity of your scalp.

I am a huge fan of this range. The Plantur 39 has long been a staple in my haircare and has made a huge difference to my menopausal afro hair which was thinning out. This comes in the form of a serum so it's a bit thicker than the 39 and so easier to apply. Amazingly it also makes my hair a bit softer, which I wasn't expecting. I can't wait to see the difference I'm sure it will make. I'll probably end up buying one for my mum too!

Not sure if its making a diffrence yet. It is a clear, non-greasy liquid with a lovely scent. I enjoy massaging it into my scalp.
