YOKA Noodle - Buckwheat Soba, Pack - Vegetarian, 300 Gm

It's not very tasty as it's buckwheat and not comparable to maida noodles, but if want to get an alternative to maida it is not completely made of buckwheat, and contains maida. However if you want to try it try my way it tasted amazing, make manchow soup or use instant packet then boil the noodles in the soup and eat with veggies and the noodle soup.

Closest to the authentic you can find on Amazon India. Made in China, which I do not mind. Those made in India are too far off the authentic taste and texture and even the cut.Put in boiling water, and as soon as it starts to boil again add half a cup of cold water. Once comes back up to boil take out the noodles. They should be al dente - not overcooked like most Indians like it. Then you add soy sauce (Kikkoman is best imho), and shredded nori sheets (can roast on open flame to make it crunchier, put in plastic bag, crunch it to break up into small pieces. Or just cut the nori sheet with scissors into 3cm long/2-3mm wide). Then a bit of toasted sesame oil (Indian made is fine, like BNB) and toasted+crushed sesame seeds (not nylon type). Price is not mentioned on packet, that is bit strange. For a 300 gm packet it is costly as per the amount that is charged. Noodles look origin buckwheat noodles though. Will cook and update later.

Tastes and smells nice, the colour is also as it should be. Children like it.
