MY CAT LOVES THESE MICE!!!!!!!!!
So my cat Luna is very picky when it comes to toys. A lot of things just don't provide her with enough stimulation or excitement to make her even remotely interested in playing. There is only 1 other toy she plays with other than these mice and she only plays on average with it once a month while she plays with these mice daily. She has literally every toy she could want because I spoil her like crazy! She loves bringing these little mice to bed with her. She will bring them especially when I am gone for the day and she misses me ill find them under my covers when I get home. I've found them in the bathtub. She's played with them running up and down the hall batting them or carrying them in her mouth. These are her absolute favorite thing in the world. I am gutted because I accidentally washed a load of laundry with them in it because she sometimes hides them in my laundry hamper and I forgot to check so I had to order them again. She's had these ones for about a year and the squeak still works so I haven't needed to replace them but these little guys do not like the washing machine. They are electronic so I'm not surprised which is why my rating remains at 5 stars. I brought the mouse up from the wash and gave it back to her. It works fine now...but.... So let's address what happens when you wash these things. First of all as I was loading my laundry into the dryer I heard an ongoing beeping like an alarm. I kept searching for the source of the noise and discovered the mouse. It would not stop. It sounded literally like one of those cheap house alarms you have to turn off whenever you open the door or it'll just go off and never stop. It was so loud which is not a noise I thought these little things could make because the chirp isn't horribly loud. It can get annoying in the middle of the night when your trying to sleep but it's not terrible. So I smacked it a few times off the edge of the washer trying to shut it up. That actually worked surprisingly. It still squeaks just fine and my cat is playing with it now. The reason I said these things don't like the washer is because of the incessant sound it made before I smacked it against the machine. Honestly it's a quality product and the only reason I'm buying more is because she loves them so much and in case next time I can't fix it. Cause if I can't fix it I'm chucking it outside.

My cats favorite toy!
My cats favorite toy! I had to replace the last one as my older cat is obsessed with the toy and the little noises it makes when he hits the mouse. I will say it can get loud and sometimes tthe mouse gets tangled but its a great toy overall. 10/10 would recommend.

Great Cat Toy… Once You Silence It
My cat loves this cat toy, it's a good way for him to work off some energy when I'm not able to play with him. He seems very engaged with it. This thing is so loud though. I wouldn't recommend having this anywhere near where you sleep. Or, you can do what I did and smash the noise maker with a hammer until it doesn't make any noises. My cat still loves the toy, but who thought it was a good idea for it to make this much noise?

Glad they still make these
I'm glad Amazon had this. This will be the 3rd one of these I've bought for what is now my 3rd cat. I got one of these 30 years ago for my first cat, and he loved it. 14 years later the 2nd cat loved it too. These toys don't last forever, but I view this toy as a right of passage for all my cats. Now just to be clear, you might want to know that the mouse will hang about 28 to 29 inches off of the floor. That means tiny little kittens aren't going to be playing with this thing right away. Once they get a little older, they'll start jumping at this thing, and occasionally sink a claw or two into it. When that happens, this thing is gonna slingshot, so make sure there are no breakables within range. Be forewarned: You are going to start hearing that little mouse chirp at all hours of the day and night. So the good news is, you will never need to replace the battery. Rest assured, kitten is gonna get your money's worth out of it. Once the kitten gets closer to full size, they will either lean against the door or just stand up on their hind legs to bat at the mouse. They might even bite it and play "tug" with it, but eventually the string is gonna break. You might be able to fix it a couple of times, but once the plastic part snaps, kitty's favorite toy will be no more. Sometimes I wish the string was just a little bit longer so the smaller kittens can start playing with it sooner, but they grow up so fast it's probably best the string isn't that long, and it's a bittersweet hope that I won't need to buy another one for another 14 to 20 years.

Ridiculously Amusing Cat Toys
I adopted kittens a month and a half ago, and have been trying out various toys, some more successful than others. My female kitten is absolutely thrilled with these little mice. She took to them right away and will carry them in her mouth and bring them under the bed, where she will sometimes hide them. On the other hand, my male kitten seemed absolutely terrified of them at first and would run into another room when they started squeaking. After a few times of watching his sister play with them, he seems less afraid and somewhat curious, but he hasn't played with them by himself yet. Also, one day she dropped one of the mice in her water bowl where it continually squeaked for several minutes. I took it out and have been air drying it for several days, and it doesn't seem to have lost any of its squeak power. These are a great value for the money, very inexpensive and entertaining! UPDATE: The mouse who survived the bath the first time, was subsequently returned to the bath, and unfortunately, he malfunctioned. First he would squeak on his own at intermittent intervals, but then he stopped squeaking altogether. Meanwhile, one of my kittens gnawed the heck out of the seam, so the chirping device fell out and I had to remove the toy to prevent a choking hazard. On the other hand, the mouse without the feathers is still intact, and now my male kitten plays with it as well. I'm glad they were inexpensive, because otherwise I would have been very disappointed at how easily destructible they are. But I will probably order more, because the cats do love them.

Fun idea but not very durable
The concept is great and my cats were really into it at first. They loved batting at the mouse and it kept them busy for a while. The problem is it doesn’t hold up very long, especially if your cats are active. Mine managed to break it off pretty quickly, so now it’s basically just a toy I drag around for them. It’s fun while it lasts, but I wish it were a bit sturdier.

The kitten loves them!
Cute little mice that squeak seem to be perfect for training the new kitten to be a mouser. She certainly likes playing with them, and it's pretty amusing to watch her playing with them, so fun for us, too.
