Just what I needed
Injured my right groin just over a week ago. Lots of bruising and swelling, as is usual with this type of injury.I looked at this product, and the other one shown on Amazon (Blue in color). However, the Blue one has almost a 30 day delivery schedule. So, the Cramer E6 it was. The material is Neoprene (think wetsuit fabric), so it is a bit stretchy. To put it on:* Hold the non velcro end, and let if fall between the legs* Place the tapered end just about mid-thigh and wrap under and over....the back under and over again.* As you pull the remaining end over, pull it tight. As the wrap is broad, i didn't a way to pull it too tight.* Wrap around the hip...higher or lower, then back around. The velcro should attach to the section wrapped around the thigh, not the section you just wrapped around your hips (this is important)The end result is that the wrap give you good support and stability. When walking, it aids in bringing the lef forward...almost like a spring. It is very comfortable, and can be worn all-day under clothing, or at the gym.Note:If you are looking at this product, then obviously you have a groin injury, or know someone that does. Along with this, buy the Under Armour compression shorts for leg support, they work really well. If not, wear any other type of compression shorts.Cons:Where the product wraps below the abs, is right across where you "hang" (men only), so you'll need to adjust left or right accordingly. After the injury heals a bit, and you are back to being more active, this is not a support that should be worn during any sports, as it will tend to slip and loosen in the thigh.

Great alternative to ACE bandages
One of the trusted ways an athletic trainer treats a groin strain is with spica compression. You basically take about 10 yards of ACE bandage and do a figure-8 wrap around the upper thigh and waist. It's not a particularly quick process. I found the Cramer brace to be a suitable and more convenient alternative to using 10 yards of elastic bandage. The brace is made of thick Neoprene, so it is rather bulky. The good news is that it is very supportive. The bad news is that it may be difficult to wear under your clothes. I wore mine over my pants, and it worked very well. The brace does sometimes become undone, but a small amount of athletic tape can solve that issue. Since my groin strain happened during the winter, I did not have the issue of excessive sweating under the brace. I am assuming since excessive sweating is not unusual under any Neoprene brace, it would probably had been an issue had my injury occurred during the summer.I do have to agree with other reviews that it would have been nice to have pictures with the instructions. However, if you Google "groin spica", you can find some very informative videos on how to properly do a spica wrap. You do the same thing with the Cramer brace expect you are dealing with half the length of bandage.

Complete waste of money
Scotch tape would be more effective. This product is a JOKE. I am an average sized person and this slid off my leg twice while walking half a mile to work. Here's a tip: don't put someone playing hockey on the packaging of your product, it leads to people thinking you can actually be active. This thing is garbage. As I am writing this review it is falling off my leg under my pants and all I'm doing is standing stationary on a subway car. DO NOT BUY.

It takes a good bit of playing around to get it just right ...
Works very well to help provide support and reduce swelling. Much more supportive and easier to use as opposed to an ACE bandage or similar elastic wrap.It takes a good bit of playing around to get it just right and it is never comfortable sitting. It is starting to fall apart some after wearing it for a few weeks, but not to the extent that it is not still supportive. I'm guessing it would not be effective after a couple months of wearing it daily. However, I have searched far and wide for something better for the labral tear in my hip that doesn't cost over $70 and have found nothing. With the very low price of this one and it being highly effective, I'd buy another one before paying a much higher price for something else.

Works well
My husband just had hip surgery, and it was actually a redo of a hip replacement 20 years old. In the weeks leading up to the surgery this was a tremendous help. It provided the needed stability, and significantly reduced the pain. I know some of the reviews have mentioned that it can irritate the skin, and I know from what we’ve gone through that’s valid. But it’s usually because you leave it on too long. You need to allow at least a couple of hours a day for the wrap to dry from the sweat your body puts out, and to allow your skin to breathe. The other comment I remember is that you need to save the packaging to get it wrapped correctly, and that’s definitely true. If you look at the picture it helps to know how it’s supposed to be done. This is a great product at a great price.

Great brace
This brace works really well and stays on all day, even with activity. The only problem is the instructions to put it on are not good because there are no pictures. When I first got it, it was hard to keep it on for any length of time before it would unravel and slip off. I finally figured out that if you pull the velcro end all the way down to the part that wraps around your leg, past the part that wraps around your waist, it will stay on.

Great tool to manage pain
I had anterior hip replacement 5 weeks ago. First two weeks I did too much because I felt great. Ended up with Iliapsoas/groin strain and had to use a walker for pain relief. Got this brace and it reduced the pain by 80%. Compression is great, it stays in place, and is very comfortable to wear. You have to make sure that you attach it to the thigh over both layers of the wrap so it doesn't come loose. If you do it right, it's perfect. I don't have to adjust it for the entire day. I take it off to sleep. This is one of the best products for the money I have ever bought. I can't say enough good things about it. Nothing would heal the strain until I started wearing this.
