Topside creeper
Got this one because it can fold down for compact storage. I like the flexibility of this topside creeper for getting right where you need it, but the pad on top after one use is already torn in several places. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the pad. Otherwise it is a great thing to have if you want to save your back from working on tall trucks.

Great for quick to moderate use
Overall this topside creeper does what it's supposed to. Could it be better...YES. Would I buy it again...probably not. This creeper weighs 75lbs. The box was damaged when received, possibly due to the weight, but the packaging was very broken up inside. Reinforced cardboard with everything zip tied in place. Even though the zip ties were pretty hefty, most of them were broken. The hardware bag had come loose and over half was missing. Still had enough hardware that I could get replacements at the local store as I didn't want the delays of working through some customer service to get replacements. My tasks for the Truck were pretty extensive and I spent 6hts on this thing the first day. After about 4 hours the pain started. The chest pad is not a solid foundation. It is comprised of a metal frame, 2 webbed straps in the middle and a bar with a foam pad around it at the base, all covered by a moderately padded cover. The second day into my project I was only able to endure a couple hours at a time with a break in between, but after 4 hours on "the torture rack" I finished up with my step ladder because I just couldn't take anymore. I think this topside creeper is very sturdy and I think its worth the effort to explore ways to make it more comfortable. It lays flat for storage and is well made, just a poor pad design.

Worth every penny
This tool has paid for it's self now 3 times over in what I have been able to save in labor cost by being able to do it myself where as standing on a milk crate or step stool was definitely not a option. I stand 6 foot tall and weight in around 290 pounds and this tool is rock solid.

Works
Plan on buying some heavy foam to pad the upper laying plate or you'll hate this thing. Can be cumbersome and you'll figure out what I mean, adjust away from vehicle till you find the right position you need. A work try would be nice if it was available. Like everything now, price is over inflated, but what can you do when you need it for hours on end.

Some minor tweeking and it would have been perfect....
I was torn with giving this a 4 or 3 star review and ultimately I had to give this a 3 star review.ProLooks fantasticCasters and wheel locks work greatStableConsWeldsAdjustabilityCord controlPlatformAs stated above I wanted to give this thing a 4 star rating but the amount of manipulation and added parts I have to add to get things right that should be basic common sense stuff is what killed it. First if they had added 8 more washers and 2 plastic washers, 4 for the outrigger to spread the bolt head pressure out some would have been fantastic (I saw this and added my own). Then when attaching the ladder assembly to the out rigger the same thing with a plastic washer to act as a bushing of sorts to keep the outrigger and ladder assembly from binding up and just rubbing the finish off of each other (I also saw this as an error and added my own). I'll also put this here since basic assembly stuff was just cut for what ever reason ($1.86 in washers from Lowes). Some of the welds are something you'd expect from someone who just took a class in welding and was practicing as well as some of the extra supports were merely tac-welded into place (it would do you well to keep an eye on them).Moving along the assembly the upper ladder section rungs should have been used on the bottom part for the sake of better footing and foot fatigue. The deck securing holes needed to be adjusted slightly as well as the bolts holding the deck needed to be properly tightened (it came pre assembled with 1 bolt on each side being loose. The fit of the deck on it's support leaves a lot to be desired as well, it should be a snug fit not the little bit of slop that it has while i doubt it would cause a failure it's putting added pressure on the bolts instead of the structure (another thing I'll keep my eye on). The deck is probably about as uncomfortable as it could possibly be unless they wanted to stuff it with shards of glass, rusty nails, and maybe Bees. Do yourself a favor and order a throw pillow to lay on top of it I'm guessing as a safety concern its designed hollow so people won't stand on it but the padding is without a doubt completely inadequate.Adjusting the height is half a battle I had to slightly adjust the triangle on the bottom that the pin goes into to prevent collapse as it was slightly tweeked enough that the pin would not slide through and through. The cord control will work with regular power tools you'll have to fight them to get an air line if you had to keep the hose off the work project. It is stable you never feel like it's going to fall forward (once the deck wedges it's self to it's final resting spot) or tip over even when reaching to the left and right while removing or driving fasteners or using a pry-bar. The colors and finish of the paint give it a super premium look. The wheels roll and track very well and the wheel locks work fantastic with an audible pop when they engage and disengage.a little wider foot rungs would have been a huge + put they are just okay for what they are.
