Is this compatible with Hape train sets?

yes, in general compatible especially if the train is not battery powered. the tracks themselves do not always align perfectly and this causes trains to get stuck (not an issue if you push it by hand)

What is the biggest continuous round circle I can make with these? Want to put under xmas tree!

Depending the the circle you have to make, you will most likely need to use different curved pieces. Some curved tracks have a more severe curve then others.

Is it compatible with ikea train set?

We have some iKea track mixed in with ours and they all seem to work fine. A few random pieces fit tighter than others, but still work!
