After a lot of searching, I finally came across this stair barrier and couldn't be happier. It meets every expectation I could possibly have for something to keep my one year old from climbing the stairs. It's attractive, effective, and has so many clever additions that make it the very best! The adjustable straps ensure it's perfectly taut, vertical wooden panels within make it extra sturdy, and there's even a zipper at the bottom to remove the panels for washing! To fit my stair case, I had to attach the straps to the iron railing behind he wooden banister. It took me a while to get over the price ($100 seems a lot more reasonable than $150 😳), but I've never regretted my purchase.

Missing ALL installation pieces in BOTH gates
I really needed this for Saturday. I bought two, one for the top and one for the bottom of the stairs. There is nothing to install the gates with. I got was to banister and it cannot be installed - please HELP
