Grandson is very pleased with this. He is into alien movies and really likes this movie alot watches it alot.He wanted all the characters from the movie but can't always do that. They are strong enough to hold up to an 11 year old. Value for money I can't say for everyone but for us yes.

Ripley rocks. A must-have figure for fans of the Alien franchise.
NECA's level of attention to detail for its various figures makes me pretty happy in general, and that is once again the case with this 40th Anniversary Ripley figure, which I purchased for my 9-year-old daughter. She loves the Alien franchise and is all about strong and smart female protagonists, so this seemed perfect for her. It's highly poseable, has a pretty good facial likeness to Sigourney Weaver's iconic heroine, and the figure doesn't feel like it will fall apart on you. I do feel like NECA's products are a bit overpriced and sometimes a little too hard to find in stock, which probably feeds into the price issue, so I wish that whole deal could be addressed somehow. But, just to emphasize this, you do get high quality items from NECA. Ah, well -- what can you do? Time to break the bank collecting the rest of this series!Also, as an aside, the box/packaging arrived undamaged -- woohoo! This is something that I'm not factoring into the star rating, since I feel this should just reflect the item itself, but I'm always ecstatic when this happens!

Literally PERFECT
Got this for my son who is OBSESSED with Ripley, this is one of the best quality action figures we’ve seen from the Aliens line! It’s sturdy looks great!

Neca does it again
Painstakingly detailed figure that looks taken straight out of the movie. The bubble helmet is jaw dropping!It comes with two spearheads that can't be loaded in the gun but with one of those tiny jewelry drill bits I was able to carve in a 1mm diameter hole to let them be inserted in the gun.

Nice figure of Ripley
Nice, has one flaw, one of the red valve knobs on the backpack is bent to side. Helmet could fit a little better but when sitting one shoulders just right looks nice. Overall I am happy. Wish shipper would put figure in protective box and not in plastic bag with no protection to figure box.
