This is PERFECTO! It is sturdy and stays in place with the non-grip on the bottom. The lid came in handy when mashing whole garlic. Took of the lid when I added the rest of my ingredients for mofongo. I see this lasting awhile!!!

Very well made, good weight and design. I've used mortar and pestle we own a few of different materials, this is our first in stainless steel. If anything earth shattering happens, I will update. for now looks good.

After 3 tries, I finally received my mortar/Pestle. Be careful of import order items. Sometimes 3rd party delivery services are used rather than UPS, FEDEX, or USPS. These other services get minimal, if any training; 'Just use Google Maps', which works occasionally. my orders were sent to another address, similar but not my address. I finally figured out what was happening and ordered delivery to a pickup box.Items have heft and seem solidly fabbed, deburring and clean up is good. Just what I needed but I don't know if it is really 304 SS, since I don't have access to X-ray Spectroscopy. We''ll see if rust spot come up.I am happy with this purchase.

Was a great purchase. It is big enough to hold lots of spices or herbs. It's weight helps keep it stable as well the stainless is easy to clean. The anti slip pad does It's job and it looks great on the counter.

Easy to clean. Great for my guacamole and dips.
