SINGER 07040 Ball Head Straight Pins, Size 16, 200-Count,

Beware, the heads are plastic and WILL melt. I almost ruined a white petticoat because of this. I assumed that these would have metal heads like the pins I've been using, but apparently not. I do know my pins are much older. Also, not all the pins I've used from the pack have points and a few seem to catch on the fabric. Also a few heads have popped off. So, take it for what you will. I needed additional pins for pleating an 1860's petticoat, that fits a ~ 160 in hoop cage, into the waistband (lots of pleats and pins!). I still use my old pins for smaller projects.

Because of the Singer Brand, I had expected each pin to have a sharp head. I was surprised to find out it was not true. I am experiencing 1-2 out of every ten I am having to throw out because it won’t pierce the fabric. What a shame...

Just ok. Many broken pin shafts or unsharpened pins. Two fell apart - head came off the shaft. You’d expect a couple of pins with issues like these might make it past quality control, but for a big brand like Singer to be shipping a product with this many errors in one pkg - it’s unusual and I’m disappointed. Won’t be buying again. Total of 12 pins that were unusable.

Should've listened to the other reviews and avoided buying these. My pack was also rusted and dull, making these virtually impossible to use in any way.Thankful for Prime and free returns, but this shouldn't be something that causes that kind of hassle.

Most of the pins either were missing the plastic ball head or the tip was broken Do not waste your money.

Wanted shorter pins for making masks. These were the right length, but the pin is so thick that it's hard to push it through any fabric. I would not purchase these again.

Bought these to detail my 1-24 scale cars. Work great for shift knobs, signal stalks, etc. Chuck it in my flexshaft machine and shape to the size and profile I require, then polish and you are good to go.

I was very disappointed with the Pins, more that 3/4 of the package was rusty and have no point.I will never buy again. Wish I could give it zero star.

Lesson learned. Buy stuff like this locally. These are useless.
