Well made, lots of fun, good value
Great turntable that actually fits tender engines and their tenders. Shed is well made, solid, and no assembly needed out of the box. The doors swing nicely and are solidly attached. Disregard other Amazon reviewers complaining of the top track coupling being cheap or not well made. It's solid and the material is good. Of course it will break if your kids hang a track piece off of it unsupported, just look at the leverage. The design in this specific area could be a bit better or they should include appropriately sized track risers that make it all the way to the floor, but this is the best priced roundhouse/shed out there and it's solid and well made. I bought a Conductor Carl 4pc riser set and a Brio plastic support set (the cheaper supports are tip over too easy) to make it up to the top track (it takes 2 risers and 1 support per side). Maybe Orbrium makes a single riser that makes it all the way up to the top. Another reviewer mentioned Choo Choo Train and Toy Company has one that does this, but I could not find it on their website.

Worth every penny
This round house is a bit pricey but it’s very well built and is a decent size. My son loves that it has a track on top of it so he can attach his wooden tracks to it and ride on top of it. Perfect addition to any train track collection.

Great shed, but I wish the base was cut smaller.
Prices affordably and we love that there is track space on the roof to connect hills. The turn table spins smoothly and has survived some falls. The colors and printing are vibrant enough to convey the purpose. My biggest negative is that when the turntable is connected to the building, you can't create a track layout that goes straight across rather than into a shed. The base is just a bit too wide to allow it. Obviously the thematic point is for the trains to go to their shed, but for play purposes, I'd love to have the option.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I recently purchased the wooden railway five-engine bays rooftop rails full-size roundhouse as a gift for a three-year-old, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The product arrived in great packaging, reflecting the care taken by the manufacturer. The overall quality of the roundhouse is exceptional—it's very durable and well-made. The three-year-old recipient absolutely loved the roundhouse! It was easy to use, and he spent hours playing with it. The toy provided entertainment and sparked creativity and imagination in the young child. I am delighted with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, engaging toy for a young child.

Finally The Engines Have Sheds!
My daughter (almost 6) absolutely loves this -- she calls it "Tidmouth Sheds". It's well built and high quality, thoroughly decorated. Since we don't have enough bridge pieces to connect the tracks on the top (it's 2x as high as a standard bridge), we're using it as a helipad for Harold the Helicopter -- until my order for more bridge pieces arrives. If you've got a standard play table (Melissa & Doug or Thomas), this does take up quite a bit of space so you won't be able to get all of your track pieces on, but my daughter happily put away the water tower, washdown, and a switch signal so that her engines could all have a place to sleep. If you're on the fence about buying this because it's cheaper than the Thomas version, but isn't "Thomas" -- just buy it. It's built well and will last through lots of play.

This came as indicated. We bought it as a gift for our Grandson, he loves it. It is pretty big. The quality seems to be pretty good, but time will tell. I think it is a little overpriced.

I wanted to love this. My sons wanted to love their Christmas present from Santa. The turntable/roundhouse looks great, feels sturdy, and the setup is fun… but the “9 lanes” claim is misleading. In real use, 2 of the 9 exits are basically unusable because those tracks line up straight into the corner/edge of the roundhouse. You can’t properly connect a standard wooden track piece there without it colliding with the building or being forced into an awkward angle. So you’re paying for 9 connection points, but only 7 function like actual lanes. If you’re planning a symmetrical layout or buying this specifically for “9-way” routing, this is a design faceplant. The fix is simple (move/shape the roundhouse corner or offset the turntable), but as shipped, it’s a frustrating limitation. For something that costs around $100, losing 2 of the 9 advertised lanes is not acceptable. Pros: sturdy, cute design, kids enjoy the turntable. Con: the geometry makes 2 lanes dead on arrival.
