Manoir Salad Plate, Premium Porcelain, Made in Germany, 8.25in, White

Perfect replacement for the plate I broke. The original set is more than 5 years old. The color of replacement plate is a perfect match.

I have enjoyed Villeroy & Boch dishes for many years and needed to add a couple of salad plates to my set. In addition to Manoir (plain soft white), I also have various pieces of French Garden (with green and yellow) and Cottage (with red and blue) that all share the same scallop-edged shape. My originals were made in Luxembourg; these new ones are made in Germany and are the same high quality as the originals. If you are only going to get one set of dishes and prefer a traditional look, these are perfect. They can be dressed up for special occasions and look great for everyday use too. They go in the dishwasher and the microwave with no problem, even with daily use. I haven’t chipped or broken one yet! I like mixing and matching with other dishes, or colorful placemats and napkins. So versatile! I highly recommend.

Excellent quality and design, as you would expect from Villeroy & Boch. If these plates are like my previous Villeroy & Boch purchases, they will last for years. They don’t chip with everyday use, and the glaze holds up through years of dishwashing.

The plate arrived in excellent, new condition with no marks, rubs, or scratches.

I had dinner plates by Villeroy and Bosch and cups and saucers from ten years ago. The salad plates matched perfectly! They are well made and really inexpensive.

A little heavier than the set I have. Looks the same so I’m okay with it.

The Manoir soup plates are really nice and a timeless classic look. Exactly what we were hoping for. Downgraded the review by one star, because one of the plates arrived completely broken into pieces.

Piatto sostituito perché rotto durante le feste….Dopo 10 anni è il primo che si rompe; il che testimonia della incredibile resistenza agli urti, ai lavaggi in lavastoviglie ecc. Il prodotto in sé è veramente eccezionale.
