We got this shock collar and tried the level 1 (out of 100) setting on ourselves prior to using it on our dog. We thought that even though the shock was extremely painful, that a dog with their fur would be alright. It is important to note that our dog is 60 lbs and has a high pain tolerance; constantly bumps herself into metal bars and is unfazed. However, when the shock was used on her (level 1), she let out the most heart-wrenching scream. For a few minutes following, she was not herself and it appeared traumatized. We had to return this product because it seems very inhumane.Please try this on yourself prior to using it on your dog if you do buy this. If you are able, spend some money on a better electronic collar.

We have two dogs one is 13 who bless him is hard of hearing so we use the Vibration to get him back when he wanders off works great. The other dog is a year old in training he comes back right away with the vibration, the shock is very strong even on the lowest setting so only gets used in a emergency.

update: i emailed the company about the problem, have not got any reply, so it has to be returned free of charge by April 30th 2021, so i printed the pre paid return label, and boxing it up, i will try a 3rd brand an see how that one works.. BATTERY'S IN RECEIVERS DONT LAST PAST 30 HOURS. i sent a message days ago to the seller on my past order page but have not received any rely yet. unlike another brand i ordered first the shock works on this one, the first one the battery in the receivers lasted over a week, but the shot never worked on ether one, on this one every thing works but the receiver batteries are always dead, let see if the seller make this right or i will send it back defective, the first brand i ordered looks the same as this brand

Three cane corsos, live in the country with acreage, if the go where I can’t see, I only have to press the beep and they come running back. Used the vibration and the shock twice and they now hear the beep and that’s all they need to hear.

This is one of the best training collars! Very simple to use and navigate from one channel to the other! My German Shepherd responds very well to just the beep! Would buy again and will recommend this product to any dog owners looking for a training collar
