This is my second bamboo shredded memory foam pillow from this seller! I absolutely love this product. I have seen other reviews saying its too full or too firm. I have Degenerative e Disc disease and this pillow cradles my neck and my head perfectly! It seems full at first but after a few minutes it will form to your head! As for being cool... The bamboo case is wonderful except for the zipper that can't be covered. I have tried regular pillowcases and they just don't breathe or stretch the way the bamboo case does. For me, the case seems to be critical to the comfort of this pillow. It is soft and allows the pillow move and form properly. A nice upgrade would be to find a way to enclose the case zipper. Anyway, I have a queen and a king. Both are nice size. I use the king as a body pillow. I definitely recommend it! 5 stars even with the zipper issue.

I've had this pillow for about 4 months now and it is making a huge difference in my sleep. I have Central Sleep Apnea, several herniated discs in me central spine, rods in my cervical and lumbar spine and spinal stenosis. All that cause me pain and effect my sleep. Prior to getting this Bamboo pillow I would sleep at the most 2 hours, then be up wandering the house for an hour or more until I could go back to bed for another couple hours. Since getting the Bamboo pillow I can actually sleep six to 7 hours straight. I've actually slept 8.5 hours a couple times! The first night I slept through the night I was so happy the next morning when I woke up I couldn't stop smiling. I felt better than I had in years. The pillow is just as firm and looks just nice as it did the day it arrived. I would recommend this pillow to anyone with back or neck problems, who needs a firm pillow to keep their neck aligned or if you just want a good, high quality pillow.

3 Stars for "it's okay", not meaning it's terrible. Please note that everyone has different comfort levels. This pillow just isn't for me. First, there's an odd smell from it. I'm used to purchasing things and having a weird smell waiting a week or two and it would go away. With this it's been a month and 4 days now and it still has that weird odor. I may try putting it out in the sun instead. If you sleep on your back, it's hard for your neck. The pillow is too firm so your head is pretty high which would give neck pains. I would have to sleep on my side. Like I mentioned, I would have to go through many pillows on my quest to find one for me. This product may be right for you.

Looks exactly like the picture describes it (as well as the pictures other users have posted). It is very important to wait the recommended time (and even a little extra) for the pillow to fluff up before you use it. I did notice a smell as soon as I pulled it out of the bag, but I just put a pillow cover over it and it wasn't so bad. It has only been a day that I've had it so it'll take a little longer for the smell to wear off, but the pillow is a good size and comfortable without feeling lumpy at all. This is a good pillow and pretty firm, although I was expecting it to be much firmer (as if the insides were more compacted). I like VERY firm pillows so that is the only thing keeping me from five stars, however I still like it and want to keep it. I'll update my review in a couple days to be sure that it remains as firm as it is now. To update-it has now been about a month to six weeks since I've had the pillow and as described by other users, it did flatten a bit. However because it is a pillow and that is what pillows do (memory foam or not), I was expecting as much. It has become a little firmer but still fluffs back up after I sit up. I would say it is now maybe 2/3 to 3/4 it's original height and there is NO hint of ANY lingering smell. In the beginning I did have an issue of the pillow flattening into more of a triangle shape where my head/neck was but now that it has compacted a little more and conformed more to how I use it, I would say I no longer really have that issue. Overall, I would still rate this pillow 4/5 stars for its comfort and firm-ness.

This is honestly such a terrible pillow... I ordered it thinking it would sort of form to my neck & head, seeing as it is memory foam... It is literally hard as a rock and about 9 inches thick. It feels like you have a large stack of paper wrapped in softer materials beneath your neck... I have been using this for about a month or two, and I'm moving back to my $3 pillows from Target. I definitely would not recommend this to anyone. It has actually affected my sleep negatively rather then improved it.

I've been looking for a perfect pillow my whole life and think I've finally found it. I was a little nervous buying a pillow online without being able to feel it first, but all the good reviews on this pillow made me decide to take the risk. Out of the box and unrolling it, it was obvious this was a completely different pillow than all the others I have tried. It was very heavy and dense. I put it in the dryer for a few minutes to help "fluff" it up. I've slept on it for two nights now, and cannot believe how comfortable it is. It is firm, but supports my head and neck. It doesn't go flat, but bounces back. I am ecstatic.

I have tried many pillows over the past 20 years, since I began using a c-pap mask at night. I tried pillows specifically designed for c-pap users and they did not work for me. When I ordered this pillow, I figured that for the very reasonable price, I had nothing to lose. My first impression was that the pillow seemed heavy and that it was over stuffed for my very short neck. Much to my delight, the pillow really conformed to me as a side sleeper and occasionally on my back. I have been using it less than one week, but I seem to relax into a deeper sleep and do not have to continually re-fluff or rearrange the pillow during the night. Perhaps this pillow will work for some people as well as it seems to work for me. I have no long term guess as to how long this pillow will stay fluffed and comfy for me, but the price makes it possible to replace it as needed. I would give it 5 stars right now.
