No batteries required
Works great , no set up except for inserting the bell into a power socket, great idea not having a battery in the button on the door ...

Simple and straightforward (once you've retired to fit socket)
Great simple little doorbell, can hear all over the house. Downside is the plug is wrong way round for easy use in typical UK houses where sockets are not usually halfway up the wall! But it's q easy to disassemble and rewire.

Door Bell, Wireless, cordless. and painless.
The door bell was fitted, firstly, to prevent the post people banging the door of its hinges, and secondly, my mum could hear it, in various parts of the house (I had to keep going down the main sorting office, to pick parcels up). The door bell came with 1 X push button, and 2 X receivers with multi tune function (home owner can pick). They are easy to install, mine came with a sticky, double sided pad (nothing else), which I stuck on to my PVC door frame, before I stuck it on, I did gave the PVC frame, a good wipe down, with Isopropyl alcohol (surgical spirit), or just give it a good clean with a bit of damp wet cloth and washing up detergent (a clean frames, makes for a good adhesion for the door bell). The receivers were plugged in to the socket, switched on, and it worked straight away (I have missed out the part, about choosing the tunes, but that is intuitive, so play with the receivers). The instructions are basic, and like most instructions, are a "hit and miss." The receivers do flash, so if you are hearing impaired, it would be an useful indicator. I bought 2 sets, of the door bells, and paired them to 1 push button, so now, I have one push button, operating 4 receivers, all at once. The instructions for "pairing" , extra receivers, was confined to a few lines, not too clear, but did get it working, with a bit of "head scratching", what is known as "suck it and see", something my dentist would say to me, when I was a schoolboy, before he was removed from the Dental Practice Register, and put onto another type of register. It is "self powering", whatever that means, I presume the push bell may work of a button cell (haven't opened it up, don't want to break it. Pros: Easy to install, no specialist, or any other types of tools required. Cons: Nothing really, instructions could be better, but what they give you, will get things "up and running" (another of my dentist's sayings). Conclusion: It is easy to install, tool less, so anyone can use (I'm not going to use that word). No drilling, and no wiring, so NO damage to the building. or decorations. It works, however too early to tell, with regards to its durability, but I'm pleased with the purchase, so far.
