I’m 79 years old and have been taking a scoop a Day for a couple of years. I started taking glycine with NAC because of a Baylor study that demonstrated the importance of both for older adults for many reasons. I have a sinus infection and took a scoop at night to improve my sleep. Surprisingly, I slept through the night without any drainage. I thought I had overcome the infection, but today it returned. Perhaps the reduction in inflammation in my sinuses was due to the glycine. There is a lot of glycine in chicken soup, especially if you leave in the bones. Maybe our parents knew something!

I just started this product. It will take a while to decide anything. So far so good 👍 Why did you pick this product vs others?: My sister looked into it and suggested it to me. Effectiveness: I'm feeling better but have only been using a week. Quality: It seem to be very good. Dissolves easily: Quickly and completely dissolves. Tastes sweet. Health benefits: Its suppose to help heal damaged tissue. We'll see what we will see.

Started buying this because I was progressing really fast in the gym weight wise/ growing my muscles & gaining strength. However, my tendons & ligaments needed to catch up. Calves being the primary cause - I doubled the weight I was doing calf raises with in about 2 months. My feet were dying - so painful in my arches & knees. Then I discovered that glycine can help with that, and lucky for me I already had this at home bc I heard it was good for sleep (can’t really tell if it works in that way for me because I combined it with a few other sleepy supps but I digress). The pain relief is amazing. I’m now on my second container. I take 5-15g a day (one heaping scoop has always weighed out to 5g for me with a kitchen scale). You don’t need to take that much, but I haven’t had any gastrointestinal problems and it’s really helped me a lot. So definitely start small and work your way up if you would like - do your research on amounts for what your goals are (chatgpt ftw). It also has a sweet taste but has no sugar or carbs. So it’s perfect if you’re doing keto or low carb. It dissolves very easy into anything you put it in so I put it in things like protein shakes, tea, my morning chia water, and more. I do 5g 3x a day and that works well for me. The only thing I don’t like is that the price has gone up significantly since I bought the first container (I think it was $20 or so and now it’s like $26). With that being said - the quality is great and I will continue to buy it at this increased price because it is still very much worth it. Would love a coupon though if you’re reading this at Nutricost ;))

I combine this with NAC and my magnesium at night and it seems to help me sleep. I have to take at lest 3 hours before bed. Great quality and quanity.

Other reviews were correct it has some sweetness, when I add it to my coffee, that’s my favorite way to use it. I also put it in my teas before bed. I sleep through the night most nights. But it’s only been a week.
