Highly recommended
I’ve always used Redken but it doesn’t seem to make my hair soft anymore. I moved to the UK 2 years ago and the water is extremely hard. I’ve tried numerous products but nothing seemed to work. Not even Redken. This product has been a life changer for my hair. I use the purple shampoo with every third wash and it word great. Highly recommend.

Love Olaplex
I love Olaplex hair products and this one is the best colour I’ve tried, bit more expensive but you only need the smallest amount, lasts ages, get what you pay for!

Olaplex No. 4P Review: The Ultimate Blonde Rescue Shampoo
As someone who's constantly battling brass and maintaining my blonde highlights, I've tried countless purple shampoos - but Olaplex No. 4P has truly impressed me.Pros:Exceptional toning performance that neutralizes unwanted yellow and orange tones effectively. The purple pigment is perfectly balanced - strong enough to combat brassiness, but not so intense that it leaves a purple cast on the hair.True to Olaplex's reputation, this shampoo goes beyond just toning. It genuinely repairs and strengthens hair, which is crucial for chemically treated blonde hair that's prone to damage. The hydration factor is remarkable. Unlike many toning shampoos that can leave hair feeling dry and stripped, this formula maintains hair's moisture and softness.A little goes a long way - the 250ml bottle has impressive longevity, making it a cost-effective option despite the premium price point.Cons:The price is definitely on the higher end of hair care products. At around $30 for 250ml, it's an investment. Those with very light or very dark blonde hair might need to experiment with application time to get the perfect tone. The purple pigment can be slightly messy if you're not careful during application. What truly sets this apart is how it cares for hair health while toning. It's not just about appearance, but actually repairing and protecting blonde, lightened, and grey hair. The bond-building technology Olaplex is known for is evident in every wash.I recommend leaving it on for 3-5 minutes in the shower for optimal toning, and using it once or twice a week depending on your hair's needs. For anyone struggling with brassy tones or maintaining their blonde, this is a game-changer.A bit of a splurge, but absolutely worth every penny for those serious about hair care.

Really messy
Makes an absolute mess of the bath , stains hands badly. Doesn’t work that good. Made my hair feel like straw. Isn’t worth the money

My go to purple shampoo
LOVE LOVE LOVE!! This is the BEST purple shampoo I have ever used. I’ve been blonde since I was 16 and using different purple shampoo, some high street brands and some luxury but have found this has to be the best. I usually do a shampoo or 2 shampoos of my normal to clean my hair and then use this once keeping it on between 3-5 minutes depending on how ashy I want my hair. The only thing I have found is if you have thin hair or thinner part of your hair that are more bleached than other strands it can go purple as it catches to the hair more. I tend to find I only get this on the very front of my fringe as the hair is very blonde with little natural hair colour through it and thin so I usually wash off my fringe first before the rest of my hair. I have used this twice in one wash before as well if you want really ash hair, just don’t leave on too long and it won’t go purple.
