I incorporated the Kojac Rice in my Teriyaki Riced Broccoli and Carrots and it came out fine.It was my first time ever with Shirtaki Kojac Rice so I played it safe.Next time I will order the the Shirtaki Kojac Fettuccine or Angel hair Noodles and use the whole Broccoli floweretts with the sliced Carrots to the Noodles for a more Gourmet look of a Teriyaki meal with more veggies and yes I definitely recommend this Brand and new way of eating with the Shirtaki Kojac having less calories.It also takes the flavor of whatever is being cooked.

The product smelled and tasted like inner tubes from an old tire. The rice is double bagged and when you open the first bag the odor is very strong. I opened the inner bag and tried rinsing it in a colander, but the smell stayed.

I opened a package of Diet Cooker Shirataki rice for last night's supper. While the package contents are a bit undersized for 2 adults, I was happy with the texture, reduce odor compared to other brands, and ease of washing the rice before use. After a quick wash, I briefly dry-fried the rice and topped it with some of my daughter-in-law's wonderful Massaman Beef Curry. If you are looking for konjak/shirataki rice to keep your carbs low, this is a good one. The oat bran helps with the color and texture so it is less rubbery than some that I have used.

I prepared this Diet Cooker Shirataki rice for dinner last night and, while the portion was a bit small for two adults, I was pleased with the texture and the reduced odor compared to other brands. After a quick rinse, I dry-fried the rice and served it with my son’s flavorful Chicken Tikka Masala. If you’re in the market for low-carb shirataki rice, this is a great option!

What is good for you may not taste good and that is the case here. The texture is gummy and is as tasteless as water. Please use seasoning at your discretion and pair it with something that has some sort of crunch factor. Also portions are about 2 -3 per pack.

I've ordered this product for a few times, and had pleasant experience with it. I like the synthetic texture of rice and the size was like real rice. But with my latest order, the size of each grain is much larger than before, and it doesn't look like rice, but small peas. And when open the package, it has very strong fishy smell. The previous orders had similar smell too but very subtle. After washing the smell disappears. I know Konjac products usually have strong smell, but this batch is definitely stronger. Something has changed...

the flavor is disjusting, like fermented fish sauce, and very chemical. I wonder who can keep this in mouth and sallow it! Made me nausious and want to puke for entire day, I only had a small bit of it. I should read the review before I placed the order. Lesson learned!

So much better than regular Konjac noodle. Still not fooling anyone that it's rice but I can eat this with everything. Thank you dietCOOKER!!!
