We are using this in our basement office. It is decent construction with decent parts used. Would be nice to see more high-end parts. While the electrical cord is solid and doesn't feel like it will fray since they used very strong plastic covering, the surge block is cheaper construction along with a cheap push-button.Would also prefer a more professional blue instead of the neon blue. With this color choice, you're reminded you're working with cheap chinese parts. Even the grey other option is an odd coloring choice.At time of purchase, this seemed like one of the best options on the market. I did buy a handful of others to compare and this one is on-par with the others I have used.In time, I hope to see higher construction, more professional colors, and more business-like USB features such as a 3.0A port or even higher with smart charging technology to intelligently step-down amperage.

The more and more that we look around the more that we have for things that need to be charged by USB. Though we still have power cords, we're need something that we're able to get multi-use and not be a constant plug this in, unplug this and plug this, ordeal. I like that you have, for the USB, a spot to do a quick charge, for when you're in more of a hurry and the ones that can chill out and wait can still care. (You have 2 "slow" speed and 2 "fast" speed for charging.) Upon turning it on, pressing the button, you'll see a blue light to appear which shows that the power strip is plugged in and on. When you turn it off, again by pushing the button, the blue light will disappear in about 5-6 seconds.It's a power strip that has moved into the modern age.

I love the convenience of this charging unit. I only have two plugs in one area and so instead of using multiple outlets throughout house, I can use the easiest outlet and have added a nice solution. It not only gives me two addition plugs, but I can also charge my tablet, phone, ipod and my rokono speaker. Great convenience.

I really like the design and functionality of this device, though it's slightly bulky. It is a bit bigger than I would imagine. It's nice to have extra security of having all your high cost electronic devices surge protected. Very convenient by my desk where I have lots of stuff to plug in and phone/tablets to charge. This serves both purposes really well.

How did I live without this? I took it to cross country camp, plugged it into the only outlet in camp, and all the kids took turns charging their GPS watches and cell phones. At home, I can charge my wireless headphones, iPod, iPhone, and running watch at the same time.

After 6 months, my power strip was sparking and now unusable. I used this in my living room for my phone charger, which is not in use but 3-4 days a week and the company (charge their phones) I had over Dec 2016. Not sure why when I plugged my laptop in last night it got very hot & sparked when I removed the power cord. Certainly will not be using any further for fear of shock/fire.

We live in an old house which has no 3-prong outlets. This solves the problem of where to plug in my laptop, Kindle and iPhone, all together. It's perfect. Highly recommend to anyone. Really, anyone!

Colour ordered was not the colour that was delivered. Very large. Definitely not travel friendly.
