Orbit56016N Hose-End 7-Pattern Plastic Turret Nozzle (Colors May Vary)

Ok, so these must be, are intended to be, as low cost as the materials and design allow for as they are "good enough" and fit for purpose. They are smaller than I expected but that's not an issue. I bought a bunch of them in one go as Prime add-ons. I am happy with the outcome and have a few spare too. Range of spray patterns both useful and typical. I rated this 4-stars as they are good enough and will probably last a couple of years. Even the alternative all-metal ones are available at 4-5x the price and would probably not last [me] more than 4 years -- so for me they are very cost effective. I bought from Timers Plus at under $2 each and with free shipping !Update: April 2018. As predicted these didn't last very long. They easily break from the trigger pivot, a weak link in design. They started leaking from around the turret after 2 seasons. Look for the updated versions with a better trigger design...

Works well. Bought it to replace the more expensive model when it began to clog with lime/sand/whatever. Cheaper one actually works better. Shuts itself off when you let go of the trigger. Expensive one did not. Rotating head a convenient way to switch modes, a very handy capability.

The flow from this nozzle at the "Full" option is less than that I can get from my other, similar nozzle. That is not a show stopper, but my preference is for the greater flow.The nozzle was received only three weeks ago, not even close to long enough to adequately assess the durability of the nozzle.

These hose sprayers are really a good deal. True, they are not built to take a lot of abuse. But:They are inexpensive. They have a nice spray pattern. Lightweight. And have an always on latch.I've had more expensive all metal sprayers that didn't make it to season two.Don't leave them on the hose with the water turned on, bring them in for the winter, don't toss them around on the driveway, and you should get a good life from them.

perfect for the price. these are not heavy duty and will not last 4-5 years. but they will last an easy 3 years. they are attractive and work perfectly. they are light weight so I assume the plastic will break sometime when I drop it or toss the hose around and the metal tab to lock the handle in place is really cheesey. but I am very happy with it.

Well I thought this was a great buy but I was wrong. I used this with my hose a few times towards the end of the summer of 2014. It worked great and I was happy. I put it away inside for the winter and just took it out to use again. As soon as I turned the hose on water was leaking/spraying out of every single crevasse on it. It is not completely unusable and I have to throw it away. I am not sure if I just got a bad one or what but I wouldn't buy this item unless you wanted to buy one every year.

This lightweight and reasonably priced watering turret is just great so far. It has a full range of pressures for watering and I love that it can be set so that the spray turns off when the handle is released. This will be used for fairly light duty, so it should be just fine for my needs.

It works, but it isn't a high quality product nor does it have a very direct high pressure stream. Ok for most jobs around the house, but don't have too high of expectations.
