Isn't working probably like another brand

My wife bought me this for my birthday and before I could use it we moved and it was a couple months later when it got unpacked and into the new house. I go to make snack sticks in it the first time. And straight out of the box the fan doesn’t work to move any air. And it was past the Amazon return window so the only option she was given by Amazon or Hakka is to spend over $100 to ship it from NY to California to Hakka. And maybe they will replace the unit. Should have just went to the local store and bought the LEM even though it’s not as big as I want.
