excellent way to preserve watercolor paintings. this is the best

I paint with watercolors, often on postcards. I never really knew what to use to seal and waterproof them. I didn’t worry too much, except for the postcards which could possibly get wet. I read another artist’s post about Dorland’s wax medium. She applied it with a soft rag, and said it dried quickly. She attached a video showing water bubbling up afterwards. I just followed the same procedure. I used a paper towel, which did pick up a light residue of blue. Otherwise, nothing else was disturbed, including the ink. There was no evidence of any change to the painting itself. I am happy with this product.

This is easy to apply and protects my watercolor paintings well!It is good to let it sit for a while after applying. It's not a liquid, more like a wax, but the stickiness goes away.

Can’t see any difference

The media could not be loaded. I got this so I can make little post cards I think it worked great can’t wait to start using it a lot more. I just started water coloring so this is new to me. The first picture does not have the wax on that’s why the watercolor was running.
