Struggling with foot drop can be so frustrating. This brace really helps by keeping my toes up and not stubbing them. Helps me not trip. Easy to put on and can move further down laces of tennis shoes for more tension if needed. My favorite brace so far of the ones I’ve tried.

Updated 12/2025-I have used the braces for 5 months and they are still going strong, so I changed my rating from 3 to a 5. I have learned that if you hold on to the bungee just below the hook when you tension it, the hook/bungee attachment works well and doesn't fail. I like the hook arrangement better than the Velcro shoelace strap of my previous foot lifter, so I gave it 3 stars. However the attachment of the elastic cord to the hook is insufficient. Both ends of one foot had the elastic outer cover pull out of the plastic hook within 3 days. The interior non-elastic cord is still attached, so the lifters still work, but I wonder how long it will be till it breaks. Also, It is difficult to remove the Velcro ankle straps, as there is no unattached tab to grab onto. So great concept, but could use improvement in design/materials.

First of all this product works great (I wear size 14 men’s shoes). I used a different product that squeezed my whole foot strapping it on. Worked great but this product is much less invasive. Reason for the 4 stars is that it broke just after 30 days. I ended up repairing it myself but I don’t know how long that’s going to last

I'm late in sending my review. Unfortunately, the bunjee cord was defective and broke after wearing it the second time. But the first day I was very impressed. It successfully raised my toes enough that I didn't trip or have limp toes. The bunjee cord just didn't last. It broke after wearing it the 2nd day. I'm sending it back for a refund. I ordered another similar one but more sturdy. I hope it lasts at least a few months.

I have drop foot and had to purchase an AFO which goes under the insole of only one particular pair of sneakers and is bulky and can get uncomfortable. I can wear the BraceAbility brace with all of my shoes that have laces and even some sandals. The part that goes around the ankle is comfortable and adjustable. It holds up my foot so I am not stubbing my toes when I walk. I have been using it almost every day for over two years and although it is holding up very well, I purchased a second one as the Velcro is starting to wear out. This is a convenient, lightweight, and effective brace for the price. In fact, my Physical Therapist said he wished that he would have thought of this idea first.

Good design, good support easy to hook but the velcro wears out in about 2 months so for something that you have to replace every 2 months it is too expensive. Also recentlyI got two defective braces twice in a row sent to me

Easy to fit, can retro fit for different types of shoes to boots with zip ties. Comfortable. It does work!

I bought a women's L/XL. I wear a 9.5 shoe and have medium ankles. The most important thing I like about the brace is that it works. It does raise up my foot and keeps me from stumbling. I am not as afraid of falling as I was. It is also easy to put on, adheres well to itself and the hooking is easy to do. I had to put a knot in the elastic cord to shorten it, which was easy to do. I Iwish it came in a light flesh color, also.. For women, that would be less noticeable when wearing a skirt.
