Plants are growing and flourishing, no issues

I was leery about using sponges for growing herbs and such indoors hydroponically but they work great. They hold the seeds well and retain moisture well. Unfortunately they grow algae and mildew if you don't keep your system sanitized. A teaspoon or two of hydrogen peroxide will fix that quickly however. I grabbed a bag of these to replace the ones that the cat fished out of the hydro system but they work they same as the sponges that came with the system. Exactly the same

these worked well last time..maybe a tad small but good enough to het it done.

Work OK but are smaller than the typical aero pods. I Did not have a great luck with germination and growth. Good price

I decided I would grow watercress in my Aerogarden and bought seeds myself. I used these cones in the plastic holders from the original seed pods that came with the the AG. Perfect fit. Seeds germinated right away. And when those plants were done, easy cleanup, just pop them out of the holders.

Sooooo much better than the cheapo ones I purchased!

For those with an indoor garden, Areogarden specifically, these are great. I tried ordering them from the company and after a month the money was refunded. I order this product on Amazon and got them in 2 days. Now I am growing the seeds I also purchased. Thanks Amazon.

These sponges are of high quality. Everything I have grown in them has done wonderful and I will continue to purchase them. For those having molding issues-- you need to cover your pods with something to keep the light from having full exposure to the tops of the grow sponges or you will grow gunk easily. Tape works well and is easy to apply with a hole in the center for your seedlings to pop through. 1 tsp of hydrogen peroxide in your water mix is helpful also.
