It truly does make everything sweet, got it for my wife for other reasons. And it works well also fun to eat and drink random food/beverages and enhance them Except for try it with beer. Lol

I bought these for many reasons, let me just say they work really well on sour foods, but that is ALL!Lime juice and fruits taste amazing after a berry.The downside- they work too well. Everything is sweet for at least an hour after one berry. Powerade is the most grotesque syrupy drink after one of these bad boys. I took a sip of seltzer the other day thinking it would be sweet and I literally threw up in my mouth. It does work on alcohol, but it makes everything taste too sweet and does not amplify flavor.Overall, very bizarre experience but these can be fun for a party.

We bought these for a party and put together quite the spread of sour things to try, including lemons, limes, grapefruit, kiwis, pineapple, strawberries, salt and vinegar chips, various sour candies, kombucha, and sour beer. Some people experienced a stronger effect than others, many of us tried a second berry. The general consensus is that the burn from the stuff like lemons and limes was still present so they didn't really taste sweet at all, but the kiwis, pineapple, and strawberries tasted like the best versions of those things they ever could have been. The sour candies had the same problem as the lemons and limes.My best advice is try these, they were definitely interesting, but not as big of an effect as some people seem to claim.

OH Man we really wanted this to work. I saw an ad talking about these so me and my family wanted to try it out it didn't work for any of us Maybe its a genetics kind of thing IDk but didn't work maybe it will work for other folks

They worked really well, I was able to eat an entire lemon with no sour taste. Just be careful to not over due it with really acidic fruits and drinks.

Its really Cool but i would not recomend buying more then once i under stand why its so expencive becuse it only growns in areas of south africa and florida But the price is crazy to buy more then once . It still awsome though lemons taste like candy so do limes pickles taste sweet so does mustered Oranges are super tasty and green apples taste like red apples .

Didn't work for me. Lemon was still sour. Mine arrived with 2 berries and the rest were crumbs. Sorry. Had 4 berries.Kathy hall.
