Got these for my dad 88 to replace similar ones that were broken. The phone is easy to operate, it's loud enough for him to hear ok, the answer machine part works great and is easy to operate. All in all very happy.

It might seem weird to give a 5-star rating to a product that doesn't rate 5 stars on any individual criterion, but that's partly because the ones chosen by Amazon don't tell the whole story.This is plainly a premium product, and without doubt the best multi-phone cell I've ever owned - It's chunky, it's backlit, it's got big digits, and it lasts a long time when not connected; what more could you want?The answer, it would seem, is "call blocking". in all it's myriad forms - of which this phone (I assume) is a master - but they're all so involved I can't be bothered to learn how to do it myself.That, however, is NOT the phone's fault, and I really like the large digit display and simple speakerphone operation.The speaker and earphone volumes are adequate for someone like me but, I suspect, lacking for anyone with hearing difficulty which is (I suspect) where this phone may be targeted.And who knows, maybe somebody will show me how to do all that fancy call-blocking stuff one day. :-)

After exactly 20 years. My faithful Panasonic Duo system was suffering screen problems on both handsets.It was the best they did back then and cost £160 in 2002.. (I still had the instructions and receipt).This new system is awesome. It shares a lot of the great features but now the ability to block spam calls.It does have speed dial 1-9 keys held down to dial chosen numbers. It also has 9 ring tone 'categories' for all stored numbers, meaning you can if you wish, have a different ring tone for standard calls, chosen people or family etc.What is new? The handsets now communicate automatically and share stored numbers without having to press buttons to mirror.The settings for call blocking are amazing. I have set mine to block robotic/automated calls and also withheld numbers. If you happen to pick up a spam call. Press the red button. that kills the call. You then have the choice on screen, to permanently block that number yes/no?1000 individual numbers can be blocked and you can also block a range of numbers.

We have used Panasonic cordless landline phones for many years, so when our ageing Panasonic set began to cause us some problems we decided to replace them with a new pair comprising answerphone with handset and separate handset. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. After reading the write ups we were expecting clearer sound, and more importantly louder sound - as both our hearing is beginning to deteriorate. In practice the new set sounds "muffly" and the volume seems lower to us than our previous set, - even with the volume set to its highest. We do like the bigger buttons, but that's about all. We did debate returning them, but can do without that hassle to be honest.

Big button phone that's easy to use and has many features

VERY NEAT, EASY TO USE WOULD RECOMMEND

I was not sure about these phones at first but then I realised that a few tweaks turn them into the most fantastic phones that I have ever owned. Basically these phones have a noise cut out function and once this is put into practice it will turn the phones into incredibly easy hearing devices. You can block Nuisance callers at the touch of a button. Because there are 2 of these phones one can go in the bedroom and the main phone can be in the front room which is always an advantage. Would definitely buy again without any hesitation.
