This unit did what it was supposed to do the couple of times I’ve used it. I’m a fan of ozone use in purifying (in an UNoccupied at the time of use!) air.How ozone works, why it works and how efficient it is, is all really beyond debate. For all intensive purposes it’s basically a gas that does what hydrogen peroxide does.H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) and O3 (Ozone) are both unstable substances which drop their extra molecule onto something else, rendering other things inert.Hydrogen peroxide is a liquid and has certain benefits. Ozone is a gas but conceptually they work the same.Ozone is great because it will kill all kind of pathogens in the air and destroy smells because it in fact drops the extra “oxygen” molecule rendering the “smell” inert.It’s cool science, effective and valuable if you have a need and understand in this case, the limitation that you nor pets nor plants want to be inundated with ozone. But it’s great for what it provides.

It works immediately, yet the smell it gives off is so strong it seeps outside of the closed room door when in process. However, the room I chose to try this ozone generator in was my 2nd floor bathroom. The smell of black mold was identified before using it. And now the smell is gone. I have yet to get that bathroom closed down and renovated for the safety of my household by the owner.

Plugged it in, did not work. I found my GFI was tripped. Reset it, the product worked fine.

The Aldious ozone generatoris really good for cleaning odors and bacteria from the air in any room. It works well in smaller spaces, just like it says in the description. It arrived on time, and the price is great for the quality. I highly recommend this ozone generator!

After a day of crabbing and fishing, we cooked the crab and put it in a styrofoam cooler with ice, which leaked all over the back of our SUV. We cleaned the carpet and the back panels, but the fish smell was pretty bad and would not go away. Put this little beauty in the car for 45 minutes, with the windows and doors closed, although we did have to put the extension cord going through the door. After the timer went off, we waited an hour to open the doors and windows and the fish smell if gone!!! The true test was the next day, after being parked outside in the sun with the windows closed it still smells fresh and clean. Well worth the money!!!

REVISION: Purchased Oct 8 2021 and the more I used it the weaker it got. I cleaned the plates but it was a waste of timeOn Aug 29 2021 it died DIED -- totally dead. This is the third brand in three years. I'm going to pay more for a Forever Ozone. It is US made, it needs no upkeep and has a lifetime warranty.ALDIOUS OZONE AIR PURIFIER AS-JH-Y10After 7 months: I decided not to return it becuase it worked. The remote never worked. And now after 7 months the unit is dead. If I am lucky it will work for a few seconds. Now I will have to find out how the 2 year warrant works.On the first day: The Remote worked ONCE. Battery not included and nothing in the manual about what type of battery the Remote needs. I assumed it is a garage-door-remote battery: ENERGIZER A23. (A big reason I bought this is because it had a remote.)The Timer knob fell off. The screw that holds it on is so tiny that tightening it (without destroying the screw driver) does little to help because it keeps getting loose. (PATHETIC DESIGN) It takes a lot of work to turn the timer.The MANUAL says: “… and then turn on the switch under the sign to start work…” but THERE IS NO “SWITCH” or “sign.” RETURNED.
