These are perfect for the transition from a toddler transformer to a teenage transformer. They're a little more complex to transform but not overly insane. They're pretty durable, the size is normal, they came well packaged, there is a separate weapon that could potentially be a "choking hazard" so be aware of that.

These have surprisingly held up well for being plastic toys. They aren't the heavier, sturdier plastic transformers, but more lightweight and easy to transform. That being said, they haven't broken with a toddler constantly transforming them. The parts will come off and eventually get loose, but easy to just reattach. I would say 3 year olds would be able to transform and play with these well

I got this Optimus Prime/Megatron set for my son's 6th birthday and he absolutely loves them! He had a little trouble transforming them at first, but they're not super difficult for younger kids, as there are only five or six steps. They're all plastic, so durability is a concern. These look awesome as robots, so-so as vehicles. That's opposite of the original toys I grew up with, where the vehicles were cool, but sometimes the robots sucked. I had Megatron as a kid, which transformed into a handgun, but the robot was awful and looked nothing like the cartoon. In this set, Megatron turns into a kind of weird looking tank, and Optimus Prime's tummy drags and prevents his front wheels from rolling. Megatron has his cannon, but Optimus has no weapons. So they're not perfect, but my review is based on how much my kid likes them, which is a lot.

These Transformers are awesome and a great size. They do look really cool once transformed, but the transformation can be a little tricky for younger kids and they may need some help

These are not that great fpr a 5 year old. We had to look at the instructions to be able to transform them each time. They're a little difficult for adults so even more for a child. I also wasn't expecting them to be plastic. I thought they would've been metal. I would not purchase these again. If your child is mechanically inclined then maybe try this for them. They just weren't a good choice for us.

We LOVE these transformers!!!! They are easy to transform and work great in both stages. Before I ordered them I read some reviews about the tummy dragging on the ground, but we didn’t mind. When we received them and made them into cars the same thing happened. But when my 18yr old daughter got home she helped us fix them. Now they work great! My 6 & 9 year old daughters love them. We are very happy and we feel like we paid a good price for them. Very happy!

My grandson is going to love these transformers! They are an Amazon exclusive. Well made and a great size for little hands and without too many moves to transform. They arrived from Amazon in the USA 5 days early, this is why I love Amazon!

It is good for kids who love the transformers movies. Just keep an eye out for the dimensions so you are completely aware of the size. It transforms really well and is definitely a good purchase.

It looks fine just not what I expected, definitely lower quality from other action figures I ordered previously
