For the price, its a great set to take a punt with. The instructions are clear and the pieces fit together perfectly. Nothing missing either. No idea why or how this is so cheap as the model is quite large compared to Lego technic car series but its a very big car which also comes with an official limited hot wheels version too, on its own stand. As an afol, to get something to build like this which is so good for ones mental health, aids with hand-eye co-ordination, learning about following instructions and sheer build pleasure, this is a great set at a great price. A fabulous set.

Why you should buy the Mega Hotwheels Bone Shaker building set; - This set is great value. 904 pieces credited on the box, but the set comes with approximately 50 spare small pieces. I have purchased this set several times so far from Amazon, paying as much as £30.97 and as little as £22.73. On average I've paid £25.33. A cursory look at Ebay for the same item (with free postage) has it listed at £28.09 at its cheapest and £84.99 at its most expensive. - This set is a ideal for both child and adult builders. This set is apparently a 10+ build but it's not a particularly tricky build owing to the clear instructions provided. The set looks good displayed, along with the exclusive Hotwheels die-cast car and stand included. The set itself, looks cool, rolls about well and is as durable as a Lego set. - This set is compatible with Lego and other comparative brands. It features colours not typically available in those brands brands like the metallic dark red and metallic silver. In addition to this there are parts Mega (Construx) manufacture, that Lego and others don't, featured in this set. The most impressive being the skull piece. These parts make for fun customisation. A factor in me buying multiple sets is to break the sets down for other fun projects. - This item is a great gift idea. Having purchased several already and enjoyed playing with it, I can happily purchase more as gifts for friends and family, knowing this is a great toy. Negatives about this set; - There is a die-cast Hotwheels car available in the same design as this set. Seems odd not to provide that design instead of the die-cast that comes with this set. I believe it's also a little misleading that the die-cast prototype featured on the packaging isn't entirely accurate to what you actually receive. Not a big deal, but I can understand someone being a little disappointed at this. IMPORTANT UPDATE The cost of this set has increased to £52.46 as of the 12th of November 2022. I would not recommend this set for that price. Hopefully Amazon will see a decline in sales at this price and drop it to a more reasonable price again in the future.

Great model from Mega Construx . Like a Cobi tank, the build is mainly in layers instead of blocks. The highlight for me is the car's interior- great colour and features. The car doors open and a section of the roof is removable- the hood is also removable to show off the V8 engine, but I found it a little too delicate, so I leave it in place. As a bonus, you get a Hot Wheels Boneshaker too, and parts to make up a stand that replicated some orange Hot Wheels track..

This model looks brilliant when finished easy to read instrutions very durable easy to put together no missing parts and it will make an ideal gift.

Bought for my 8year old as he’s mad on bone crusher not built yet but delivery super as always and in great condition.

Another nice sturdy big scale model set from the guys at Mega Construx (Mega Bloks) & Hot Wheels. Similar in scale & detail to the Rodger Dodger set I have. Everything about this set is great, except the inclusion of a die-cast Hot Wheels car which has little resemblance to the brick model, they are the same vehicle, but both are different colours and have different liveries - I can't see the point in that, the die-cast doesn't compliment the brick model whatsoever. The brick model is big, measuring approximately; L 30cm, Width 8cm, H 8cm with just over 900 pieces and it is full of authentic details, opening doors, free moving Wheels with slick rubber tyres, detailed pickup bed, removable roof panel and removable bonnet (hood) panel, so it can be displayed or played with in 2 different guises; classic low slung Show Rod or outrageous Rat Rod with fully exposed engine & chop-top. Imho worth the 30 quid I paid for it. It took me about 5-hours to construct using the well thought out instruction manual which has easy to read bulding diagrams and details about the designer of the die-cast Hot Wheels model. I really hope Mega Construx & Hot Wheels produce some more of these style sets, but if the exclusive diecast doesn't look like the brick model, it'll be a waste.

I was really surprised at the size of this thing , the box is pretty big . Good quality Lego - ish kit with a smaller version ( hot wheels) included. Really impresses for just over £25 , tbf I’d say it would still be worth it at twice this price. Arrived promptly & well packed , 5 stars ⭐️ cheers 😎

I was surprised at the size of box it did have a rare in the box but overall good value for the size my grandson will love it as it’s for Christmas

Der Hammer!! Sieht richtig gut aus, vor Allem der Motor ist sehr schön filigran. Hab das für unseren Sohn zu Weihnachten gekauft, weil er den „Boneshaker“ so sehr mag. Aner er ist definitiv zu jung für diesen Anspruch. Zusammengebastelt hab‘s ich, spielen tut er damit 😂

Nice product, fun build

Es una gran pieza, aproveché ahora que estuvo en descuento, aunque si me tocó la calavera con un detalle que fue error de fabricación :( le falta una parte y pues si se ve horrible eso, pero no quita que esta pieza sea una chulada. Por lo que investigué, en la pág de mega construx pueden reemplazrate piezas dañadas así que estoy en espera de una respuesta para reemplazar la calavera del frente. Debo mencionar otro detalle en las llantas, no están perfectas y parece que tienen corrector en los detalles en blanco ya que se despintan y en las llantas el color negro también se borra muy fácil. Pero vale la pena totalmente.

Very fun! Would not recommend this for small children unless they have an adult or teenager to help them. More complicated than it seems. Beautiful car great product! Arrived on time loads of fun to build
