These plates are great in almost every way. They are well made, good quality and the gold around the rim is really well done. They wash up well and are solid. My only complaint is that the divot pattern in the plate makes them look like golf balls. I'm going to keep them but wish that the divots were more random or maybe larger in the design. But a nice plate for the price and the packaging to safely ship them was impeccable. I think I would have liked them better in one of the other colors like black but I do love a white plate for showcasing food.

Not sure what happened to these guys but this was a bad experience, twice. This was the 2nd box. I returned the first one because absolutely every single dish was not just broken but shattered. Now I know what you are saying, But that could be a shipping issue and you are right, it could be but twice means they didn't learn the first time. But ok lets talk about quality. I have included images from my originals, and you will see it is sleek smooth very well done. Look at the new on you will see divots, waves, and dimples. You can't see it but they are even bulged in the middle, ever so slightly. But enough for food to roll, gravy to pool away. And the extra gloss/glaze they have added makes them look cheap and fake. I loved, absolutely loved them when I bought the first set 7 years ago, but either they, their process, their materials have changed or all of it. It is a shame because their prices, like everything else has gone up. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company at this time.
