This water proffer didn't change the color of the boots. I would highly recommend Tarrago Nano Protector.

One can was enough to use for around 7 pairs of suede chukka boots that I own. So far from what I have seen the spray does repel water when sprinkled on (I tested this), but I am unsure how they will hold against medium to heavy rain on pouring days. Overall, the spray dries fairly quickly and does not leave shoes smelling like most other waterproof sprays however they should be sprayed in a well ventilated area since the spray itself has a somewhat strong odor, and did not darken my boots which was nice.

This stuff is top of the line. I would recommend for any type of suede or nubuck application. We live in the Pacific NW and suede isn't exactly a popular choice for our wet and soggy fall/winter/spring season. This spray allows me to wear my suede boots with confidence.The instructions listed on the can are very simple. Its a pretty straightforward product. Clean the shoe, shake the can, spray the shoes, let sit for 30 min and your good to go.

Have sprayed sheepskin suede slippers & a pair of yellow leather tennies. No problems with application, but did it outside with a mask on. So far no spots or stains on either one. Appears to be working perfectly.

Used this on seven pair of suede shoes right before we spent a week in the snow. Our feet stayed warm and dry! Great moisture repellent!
