Little white things were moving inside the food!
Smelt off & my little dog would not eat it & its normally his favourite food. The fact that there were tiny little white things in it that were moving made it obvious something was wrong with it. Sent pictures to seller and their reply was oh that's normal, its supposed to look like that!! Disgraceful...

Fantastic food for fussy eaters!
I have a chihuahua who can be fussy with his food. I originally started him on kibble/hard feed but he really does not enjoy it. I then switched to a London based company called Butternut Box who prepare and deliver fresh food pouches, unfortunately this did not agree with him at all and he was quite poorly. I moved him over to Arden Grange sensitive to get his stomach settled - short term -once recovered I started to feed LK wild campfire of which he loves!I have found that as the tins are jam packed with high quality ingredients you could probably get away with feeding less, however he gets half a tin in the AM and then the other half PM- it does seem a lot but he is very active- speaking of which his energy has gone through the ROOF! Bertie has always been lively but now he is bordering on the crazy side. Since feeding he has reduced tear stains and is very happy and healthy. I will continue to use this food as it’s fab.Thank you LK!

Is this sub-standard? Made my dog poorly.
My dog loves Lily's Kitchen. I couldn't get my subscription direct from them and needed some asap. Is there such a thing as dog food seconds? These trays didn't look the sane texture as usual - looser with more jelly and a more greasy feel - but had nothing to compare it to so fed her the food. Dog ate the lot (she'll eat anything) but had awful loose stools after and was really uncomfortable with her belly. (I know she hadn't eaten anything else as she'd had an op the week before so was on the lead for all walks). Finally got food direct from LK and the texture was much firmer - won't be feeding her any more of the stuff from Amazon.

Disappointing - price increase yet service is worse than before
I have always ordered Lily's kitchen via Amazon if and when I am unable to buy them off the shelves at my local supermarket. They have always been very good quality products but that is in the past. The goods were always delivered in larger boxes and the items arrived without any damage. On this occasion, not only did they have the audacity to increase their prices, they decided to scrimp on the packaging and put them into paper envelopes. Yes, you read right - Paper envelopes. Naturally, the product will get bashed around in the van with other goods. I received the product with some trays badly bashed up. Everyone knows bacteria will get into cans when they are bashed in and I suspect it will be the same with pet food trays. The service is getting from bad to worse. I also realised that they are no longer small home grown company but sold themselves to Purina which isn't what I want or expect. Now they are going to make their food to the "standards" of Purina (Nestle) which is really a regression. Why do these small companies literally love to sell themselves to large Billy Gatey businesses? It's really depressing.

My dog loves this.
Of all the recipes Lily's Kitchen do, I think my dog can eat maybe three of them due to intolerances. She's a small breed too, so tins are out, too wasteful.I got her a single tray of Great British Breakfast and I don't think I've ever seen her so excited about her dinner. The ingredients are great. The food itself is really dense - not unlike tinned corned beef when it's been refrigerated - and she just... She loves it. It smells like food, too, rather than stinky dog food. Her stomach also likes this - no upsets, and she's very sensitive. I really, really hope they never stop making this, because she just adores it so much. If I had more money I'd probably feed it to her every day.

Your pups deserve better.
Used to feed my pups this brand as it seemed good quality compared to other brands. Few weeks back both pups started having stomach troubles, their poop was just a mucus filled. Thought they picked up a tummy bug outside. Took me w while to realise that the food colour in the tin had changed. It’s become more filled with jelly, has a completely different smell and appearance. Did some online research, found a lot of sites that had people post reviews of their current experience with lily. Seems they sold out to nestle, so suspect that company is forcing them to use lower qualities left over bits to put in the cans. It’s really gone down in quality. Avoid. Search online for different brands, better quality is out there. Your pups deserve better.

Dogs love it.
A lot of wet dog food smells disgusting but the Turkey Lean Machine had a pleasant aroma. The dogs took to it straight away and cleaned their dishes.I have 2 Shih Tzu’s and the one can be a fussy eater so it can be trial and error but there has been empty dishes with this food.

Think again before you buy
I'm usually always a 'positive reviewer' on here. But today I write this with a broken heart. Bought this for my pup who is always an active happy eater when given royal canine. First time I fed this to him he wouldn't come near it... and when he did he started to violently vomit the food up, looks unwell and very low in energy. The second time I tried to feed him this he actually cried and avoided eating this food. The ingredients sound great but the food smelt off and not suitable for any puppy let alone mine. I had heard so many great thing about this brand but now that I have started to read the reviews... big regrets!
