I swear by Purina but my cats will not eat this. They try but then stop. Is it possible it might be a little large of a bite?

I've tried several other types of dental treats, and while the cats enjoyed them, they would usually swallow them whole. The shape of these treats is better because the cats have to actually crunch on them, which is what I want in order to clean their teeth. They also obviously enjoy the flavor.

I was gifted a small bag of these treats several years ago, and my extremely picky cat actually liked them. I was buying them at the grocery store and Petsmart until each one at some point stopped selling this brand. I tried a couple of other treats, but my cat is extremely picky, so she never ate them. I was so glad to find these on Amazon. Years in, and our cat gets a couple of treats first thing in the morning, and before I go to bed at night. They really seem to be helping keep her teeth healthy. She's almost 11 years old and her teeth are in really good shape. I will keep buying these as long as our cat is with us.

My veterinarian told me to get dental treats for my cats, so I tried these, skeptical that eating a dry treat would actually help their teeth. I am not really a fan of dry food, all my cats get canned food and freeze-dried raw food. But these crunchy little balls are an exception and I must say, ALL of my cats love them. And, I love the size of these treats - they are larger than the usual crunchy treats, almost the size of a corn pop or cocoa puff, and so if you drop one, it's easier to see. But in my house, if I drop one, all 4 of my cats will come running and make short work of it. The price was reasonable, I give these to my cats every night, and I guess we'll find out at the next vet visit if there's a long term benefit. Perhaps the size of the treat is what makes it good for their teeth? I don't know, but my cats like them!

At his annual check up, my 3 year old cat is starting to show very early signs of tartar build up. I was surprised as he eats quite a lot of cat biscuit which I always thought was good for their teeth. My vet recommended that we give him some dental biscuits which apparently will help clean the teeth more than regular biscuit. They are like treats and my cats love them. They only need to have 17 each day so it is quite easy to fit them into the daily routine
