Use it Everyday!
I use this everyday to weigh out tons of different types of food. Whether the food touches the scale directly or I use a bowl it still is correct each time. It is easy to clean and has not stopped working on me yet and I wash it pretty consistently! It is easy to read, easy to store, the scale has great quality, and it is bright enough to read in the sun or the dark. It shuts itself off each time which is beautiful and the batteries are still alive and kicking since I bought it! Highly recommend it! It is solid, not cheaply made, and is big enough for a lot of different things on it at once!

Does the job! Good value.
This has been helpful in terms of getting more accurate at calorie counting in my weight loss journey. I like all the measurement options and how easy it is to use. Seems pretty durable so far. God knows I get all kinds of liquids and food on it. Also, easy to clean. I've been using it maybe a few months now so I'm not sure I can speak to the battery life yet but so far no problem. I only tend to use it for short periods of time when I turn it on so I can only imagine it should last longer.

Really good if not banged up in transit
Out of 5 scales I kept this one. Accurate, fast to register, easy cleaning, and a good size platform. The off function is the same as the tare, you just have to long press to turn off. It's the quickest out of the few new scales I've tried, and measured accurately across all areas on the platform. Maybe I got lucky, as in shipping may get damaged in transit. I've had two if the same scales one time and one was finicky the other was perfect..I think people under estimate sometimes how rough , and damaging shipping can be on electronics...like I would never order a tv to be delivered. No complaints here so far. Has a good weight to it, and I really like the hi def display, makes it easy to read...no cheap looking , illuminated background in blue or anything.. I didn't even realize it was a 33 lb capacity scale.. bonus!.. I've also tried the black plastic smaller version of this scale.. same nice display , but is smaller , and feels cheap, as it is a few bux cheaper. Functions the same..just not enough heft to it, and didn't like how it was all plastic... didn't feel durable. Anyhow this tempered glass version is worth the few extra bux to me.

I don’t hate it
Works well just does register anything under 3g. Small enough to store in my utensil drawer. Better easy to use.

A Great scale at a Great Price
The scale although it is light weight, surprisingly has a 30 pound weighing capacity. The price point is great. It is easy to read, measures quickly and matches calibration with my other food scales so it comes well calibrated.came with batteries included! I would recommend this food scale for youth & everyone who likes to bake.

Great Upgrade from a Traditional Scale
I used a traditional scale before, but after purchasing this digital scale, I’m very satisfied. The design is sleek, the numbers are easy to read, and it’s very accurate. It’s also easy to clean after use, even when placing bowls or containers on it.

Happy customer
Recently i was given a recipe for Cyprus Dessert i really wanted to make. Unfortunately most of the ingredients were in grams. While i could make a good guess on how much that would be for the large amounts, I absolutely could not weigh 20 grams of baking powder without a kitchen scale. We’ve been needing one for quite some time now, and so it was about time to finally make the purchase. I really liked the tempered glass top with touch buttons and modern look of the LED display. All glass top ‘waterproofing’ and protecting the buttons underneath, for easy cleaning and preventing damage from accidental spills (cooking can be messy and ‘Oopses’ happen sometimes). Bottom side of the unit is not waterproof. Seeing the numbers appearing on the surface without any visible screen box, while background remain the same color as the rest of the top, is very appealing. Other scales with LCD display and a very visible screen box pretty much look like gadgets from the 90’s (no offense intended). Having an actual On/Off button was important to me. Design is very slim and lightweight adding zero bulk to my kitchen and like other reviewers mentioned it can be conveniently stored in a kitchen drawer. Scale is accurate, as much as it can be considering it can only display exact increments of 1g. Anything slightly bellow or above may result in fluctuations, which is why i always wait a few seconds after it displays a stable reading just to be sure. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that this accuracy is present everywhere (even corners and right on top of the LED numbers), probably thanks to the built in quad precision sensors. It is easy to use and read. Turning it on/off, changing measuring units and tare is straightforward and fast. Results display instantly and change gradually as you pour more flour or any other ingredient into the measuring bowl. Auto off timer is exactly 2 min. of inactivity which is plenty of time for most of my measuring needs. It can not weigh liquids (l, ml and fl. oz), but honestly I don’t even need that since i use cups for the purpose. To provide accurate reading, it is important to place the unit on a hard flat and leveled surface. I made the mistake of not doing that the very first time i used it and the results were way off. Sensitivity is extremely high. So much that blowing on top or making a movement strong enough to create an air current, will affect the reading and cause fluctuations, which also happened in my tests. 22 lb capacity is more than enough for cooking and mailing letters or boxes. I chose this product over the ones with USB recharging for two reasons: First: USB charging port is an open port, which means dust and humidity or any other unwanted particles (like flour) may and will find their way in eventually. Dirty ports will not work properly over time or stop making contact all together. Second: In the event of that port being damaged, i would be left with no alternative way of using the scale. Plus it is not always easy to find a usb outlet when not at home. Some scales offer both batteries and USB charging, but reason number one is why i stayed away from them. And i know charging via cable is considered eco friendly, because of the fewer batteries being thrown away, but so can be the use of rechargeable batteries. I have compared 3 different brands LED kitchen scales and here is mainly why i chose Vitafit over the other two: 1. 5 year Warranty vs. 1 and 3 years respectively. 2. Minimum displayed weight of 2g. The other two scales couldn’t go bellow 5g. 3. Device can be kept on by pressing the surface from time to time to register activity and reset the 2 min. auto off timer. One of the other two scales would turn off after 1 min. no matter what, which was a no go with me right away. 4. Precision from side to side and one corner to another. One of the other two brands could not do that. 5. Despite the fact i loved the look of black tempered glass more, white surface has less mirror-like reflective look and do not show fingerprints and white streaks as much. More specifically, seeing my own reflection or the reflection of anything else in the room was very distracting. 6. Competitive low price combined with everything I mentioned above made my choice clear. CONS: This one is more of a suggestion. Scale doesn’t have a ‘hold’ feature which comes handy when using large vessels to measure in and they cover most of the scale (making it difficult to see the results), or measuring a large box you need to mail and can’t even reach the buttons underneath. In the second scenario using tare function, in order to read the negative numbers after package is removed, won’t work since the buttons are covered. It’s not really a big deal, but adding a ‘hold’ button or moving all the touch buttons on the side of the device could help with that. I am happy with my new kitchen scale. It is perfect for my needs. Oh, and by the way, that Cyprus Dessert is so rich and juicy 😋...

It's all right; but, buttons on weighing surface = finicky scale.
This seems like a nicely built scale, and the higher weight limit is great. However, I have to say that having used scales with a separate weighing surface from their buttons (i.e., the buttons are not part of the weighing surface), that the former is much more preferable. With a scale that is built like this, every time you press the button to tare it or to change the units, the numbers go crazy because you are literally pressing on the scale. The scale does wisely give things a few seconds to settle out before it tares, so it doesn't affect its utility—but it did take some time to get used to, and in general I think the benefits of a single-surface design (marginally easier to clean?) don't outweigh this downside. I would prefer a scale that has its buttons on a surface that is separate from the weighing surface. Other than that, it seems like a nice scale. Use of AAA batteries is wise (I hate having to find button batteries), the surface is easy to clean, it's slim and easily stowable, the numbers are easy to read, and there's a little green circle that basically lets you know that the measurement has stabilized (kind of superfluous but whatever). Switching units works intuitively, you just have to ignore the jumping numbers and let things re-stabilize (it does preserve its tare when you are switching units). Anyway, it's good—but I think I'd buy a different design if I had a do-over.
