Original Wolverine mini-series
I've been a fan of Wolverine since I was a little kid and never got to read the original mini-series as it's FAR out of my price range. This reprint, with some extra related content is perfect for the Wolverine fan that doesn't want to spend their life savings to read 4 issues! It's a great story and I'm so excited to finally have it!

One the Best of Wolverine Stories: Claremont & Miller's Wolverine
I am not going to lie, I've read this graphic novel before. About three or four years ago when the 2013 Wolverine film was released, where Hugh Jackman's Wolverine dominated the summer box office as it was bad-ass good (before the release of Logan dominated the box-office this year in a big way), this where the film got its source like all the other famous X-Men storylines. For any Wolverine fans, you are in for a treat. Like the 2013 film, Wolverine travels to Japan but for a different purpose. Also, FRANK MILLER, the artist/writer of DAREDEVIL, continues what he does best: ninja and samurai action. His famous ninja clan The Hand clash with the ultimate mutant who is the best there is at what he does and what he does isn't very nice. Clearly this is [Chris] Claremont treating Wolverine to be a Western samurai tale, and who can blame him. It is also a tale of what makes Wolverine take on a bushido code: "Is Logan a man or a beast?". The story is solid and the art was perfect. Claremont and Miller make a perfect team. If you are a fan of X-Men/Wolverine or a fan of ninjas, this book is definitely for you.

Snikt-tastic and Clawsome!
While some may argue that its impact has diminished over time due to the evolution of the genre, it is crucial to recognize that Wolverine By Claremont & Miller was a groundbreaking work in its era. It sparked a new sub-genre, inspiring countless authors to create fresh and daring narratives that might not have existed otherwise. The brilliance of this story lies in its simplicity. It strips away the more fantastical elements of the Marvel Universe and focuses on a raw and gritty portrayal of Wolverine in the unique Japanese setting fighting Ninjas and dealing with the angst of having his own love interests to contend with.Chris Claremont's writing during this period exemplifies a writer in the prime of creativity paired with a character who's voice he captures perfectly. And here he is teamed with the promising young talent of Frank Miller, who would later go on to become a creator that brought the comic industry to new places culturally with his groundbreaking work on Batman, Daredevil and Sin City.Miller's work adheres to a more traditional house style of the time than what we now come to think of when we picture his art work. But his distinct style is apparent, even in its early stages, setting him apart from many of his contemporaries, adding a unique touch to the overall visual appeal of the comic. Seeing Miller's artistic evolution in this edition is a delightful experience for any comic enthusiast. The Wolverine By Claremont & Miller: Deluxe Edition is a classic worth celebrating and cherishing. Its originality, simplicity, and influence on subsequent works make it a pivotal moment in comic book history. Do it you coward
Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. This book is hard to find at local bookstores, so would highly recommend ordering this. The story itself is pretty engaging and an essential part of Wolverine's story. The real standout though, is Frank Miller's art. The action he presents is fluid and exciting. A must own for any Claremont era X-Men fan.
