RSVP International Endurance Measuring Spoons, Round, Stainless Steel

I needed this elongated style to get into my spice bottles with the tablespoon and the teaspoon with ease. I am not disappointed. I had plastic ones that just did not hold up to everyday uses these will.

I own several of these. I put them in my loose tea jars. They're made of sturdy metal, and they measure the perfect amount out for a cuppa hot tea.

It was pretty handy and convenient. Only need to measure once.

It's funny, because someone else bought these for the 1/8 teaspoon for their salt box, same as me. The spoon fits nicely, is well-made, and sprinkles the salt well. BTW, the bowl part is shaped more like a rounded off triangle than an oval. Anyway the downside is that they are a little heavy, so I worry about breaking my glass salt box -- probably needlessly, but you never know -- and, the length is actually a little too small, so I wind up putting my fingers all over the salt, which is what I was trying to avoid.I rated it 4 stars, because they really are well made (accuracy unknown). Because the handles are short and wide, I think they would be good for people who cannot grasp items too well, like those with arthritis.

The yeast measure arrived promptly and, even though I have yet to actually use it, I am very pleased. It is obviously well made and the measure (1 1/4 teasps yeast) is accurate. Time will prove its endurance but as of now, it looks to be up to the task. As well, it is actually "pretty" , not a description one usually makes about a spoon but it is appropriate now. Oh yes, the price is also perfect.

I hunted all over Amazon, but every set of measures was wildly inaccurate. I expected the worse with this latest set, but, no: measuring liquid from a medical thermometer, all measures in this set were spot on.Which begs the question why was it so hard to find measures that do the job they are supposed to do? And why is Amazon allowings so many measuring products to be sold that are not fit for purpose?

The recipient of this gift was very, very happy, as I was too.

As others before me I can confirm that these appear to be of very good quality and are as acurate as any other spice measuring spoons I have ever used. The rectangular form is great for scooping out of spice jars. The tradeoff (there is always one!) is that it is a little harder to get stuff off them than off the usual round ones. For dry ingredients it's not a problem, but for honey, molasses and such I'll probalby keep a set of round ones aorund.
