All I can say is I was on the fence about these ties because of some of the luke warm and frankly poor reviews...But for the price I took my chances. I have to say now after getting these? I have no idea what any of these people are talking about who gave these a less than 5 star review. I've been buying and wearing ties most of my adult life for 30 years, and these are definitely comparable to anything I've bought in a department store for 10 times the cost (or even better than some of the garbage I've purchased there). The colors are vibrant and bright, the ties (at least for my taste) are the perfect width and length, and with these and two new shirts I bought on here? I breathed new life into some older boring suits I have, and looked like a million bucks doing it. They are definitely silk or some kind of excellent silk alternative; they're soft and feel expensive, and frankly they just look great. Anyone bashing these has no idea what constitutes a "good tie" in the first place, or who just looks for reasons to complain about anything they can in life, and put things down. From a "tie guy" like me?? You simply cannot go wrong with these at this price. I am personally going to buy a whole bunch more styles of these from the same seller, because I think they're awesome. Another HUGE plus for me (and maybe you) is that these are not "skinny ties", which I absolutely hate with a passion. They are regular, standard sized, GOOD LOOKING TIES for MEN...Not this "skinny tie" crap that's become all the rage lately...It makes me want to puke that I cant even go into a department store and buy a normal mans tie anymore; without finding that all they carry is something you'd see Olive Oil wearing on a date with Popeye.. It's great to me that I can come on here, and for a fraction of the cost get a REAL damn tie...Thank you WeiShang..You've raised the bar for all.. : )
