Britannia Series 1-3 Boxed Set [DVD] [2021]

Can't use on disc player so it sucks.

Came across this series by accident while channel surfing my cable subscription. Never heard ANY buzz about it, which kind of surprised me post-GOT( Game Of Thrones). Enjoyed characters, although most aren’t around long-sorry,- spoiler alert(?). Music doesn’t match/ belong with the show( my opinion) and my cable channels did not air season 3, leaving the 3rd( final?) season yet to be aired. Had to search for this series on DVD( would have preferred Blu Ray). Finally found so I could watch how the conclusion unfolds. Lots of blood and gore, but also humorous enough to lighten the dark tone of the story. Plays perfectly on my all-region Blu Ray players, arrived in perfect condition and earlier than promised.

I had seen clips of Britannia on social media for a while so thought I'd see what all the fuss was about and buy it, I thought I'd just watch the first episode to give me a feel of what was to come later on? One healthy beard growth later I came to realise that I must've missed some parts because there is so much happening at once, So I'm going to have to watch it all over again from the start. This series is phenomenal and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to Everybody.

Just loved this series saw it on TV before I got the box set.Gory at times but that is what it was like in those times us Britons were a rebellious lot! The actors give it their all and the locations were spot on. Divis is a joy so funny as the outcast Druid gives some light relief from the battles. Zoe Wannamaker is a great actress and portrays Queen Antedia really well.I could go on so.many good performances. Binge watched it all again. Recommend.
