It's a thousand times better than teflon. Sliding eggs and nothing sticking is true with really easy clean up. BUT ONE CAUTION - don't ignore the caution instructions to not over heat this pan and do not use metal utensils on it. The slightest touch of metal does chip it and the heat is so even there is never a need to for high heat. But if you do, you have to plan to be right there for a very fast cook with immediate heat turn off. Long high heat use will reduce the sliding protective effect on the pan, create stains or worse you cause the coating literally will pop right off in chips if left on high with nothing in it yet to cook. Yes, I did all those things and had to get a second pan to start over doing it right. But truly, super high heat is never needed.

I love this pan. It is beautiful to look at and it does everything you need it to do. The wood handles stay cool to touch and the lid is vented. Non-stick and easy to clean. It's great for stir fry, making soups and sauces and just about anything!

I was long overdue for new cookware. I received an 8” skillet as a gift and liked it. So, I purchased this wok/skillet. It's great. It's easy, very easy, to clean. Food slides right off. No need for the dishwasher. The faux wood handle and lid knob are a nice touch and they stay cool to the touch.

I love working with cast aluminum. Had I tried Phantom Chef before I bought just a couple of individual pieces, I would have ordered a full set! They are great! They cook evenly and wash easily. A good portion of cooking begins with the cookware. These make cooking fun!

For the cost, I'd rate this pan above average. It cooks great (on gas, we don't use electric) and heats evenly. Cleans up easily, looks good too. We are buying another one just so we have it when the first one wears out.

More important than its attractive styling, this pan has good heat distribution, fantastic tight fitting lid, great non-stick cooking surface, and comfortable and sturdy handles. I'm pleased with my purchase.

So, so angry! First of all, I love the look of these. They are beautiful! They seems to cook well and cleaned up easily. So why am I so angry? Because the VERY first time using them, the deep skillet bumped up against my Dutch oven while cooking on the stove top. And it put this HUGE UGLY scratch on it! It scratched literally the first time using it. There is no way that this set is going to hold up to wear and tear of a large family. I really want to return it, maybe there’s something wrong with this particular piece because the Dutch oven didn’t scratch.
