Great system, high quality stainless steel, easy installation
This is a great under-sink filtration system. The water is clear and tastes great. It comes with two quick-connect 3/8 lines that make it easy to connect and disconnect the unit from the supply and faucet. This means you can just shut off the supply valve, disconnect the whole unit, and change the filters from the counter-top, then easily put the system back under the sink and quickly reconnect. Love it! No need to crawl and crouch under the sink the whole time. The finish is high quality stainless steel, and comes with a black steel filter wrench for changing the filters, which is a nice touch. It looks beautiful and feels "quality", not cheap plastic. Connecting from the water supply was easy. I chose to split my supply so the main faucet remains unfiltered, and only the separate drinking-water faucet is filtered. I added a dual-valve compression fitting to replace the existing single valve, which has nothing to do with this unit but necessary for my setup. Pretty simple. The supply side to the filter was easy to connect using one of the supply lines with the female connector. The other provided supply line has a male end, for which I had to buy an adapter to convert the 3/8 male line to a 1/4 female so I could connect to my faucet. Check your faucet connection... if the faucet itself is 3/8 female, you're all set. If not, you'll need to purchase an adapter to take 3/8 male to whatever you have. This filter system is very fast! It is just as quick to fill as the main faucet, even when going through the mini faucet. It's amazing how efficient it is. I mainly use it to fill a coffee carafe each morning, and it is such a pleasure vs the trickle coming from the fridge water filler that I was using before.

Works as advertise and removes the bad taste from kitchen sink water
Easy to install and only required a little retightening to stop a slow drip from the connections. The manufacturer's web site has a product selection guide based on your location and water company. I was mostly concerned about removing the Chloramine distaste. Which was effectively removed. I plumbed it myself with simple tools and no diverter to a separate drinking tap, it has enough flow for our kitchen sink faucet, so all our water there is filtered. Much easier than a whole house system and more cost effective, since we are okay with the public H2O for laundry and showers. As others indicate, there is no indicator for a filter change, however just put it on your e-calendar to change after 6 months, or if you think to flow rate is too slow.

It’s good. Not designed for the Waterdop faucet. Connectors are difficult.
The good: it’s not plastic, it works, the standard installation is easy. The bad: it uses push connectors which leave me anxious about it popping out and causing a flood, the little clips are very difficult to install correctly, we did a test run on the counter prior to pushing in the hose- which was a good idea- so we could clearly tell what it was supposed to look like. Under the sink is much more difficult. Once the hose is properly pushed in, getting that blue clip under the gray plastic hose retainer required a tool to lift the collar up enough to get it securely in the correct place. If I didn’t do our own plumbing (major plumbing- total reno’s and plumbing repairs and new installations to explain I really know plumbing) I may not have appreciated that it was far too easy to fail to get it on correctly and potentially have failure there. The directions should have had far more detail about the clip- FAR more. Anyway, got it secured. Why can’t there be an option to replace the connector with threaded parts? I would have removed the pop in and replaced the hoses if those connections were removable. I did that with my 30+ year plastic filter that I was replacing. The stainless housing bodies are very challenging to screw off and line up to screw back on. We opened them, also added some silicone grease to the gasket in part to be sure they secured a good seal also to ease the removal in a few months when it was time to change the filter. The metal threads are not the smoothest. But I understand the trade off with getting rid of the plastic- just mentioning it. We will have to disconnect the unit when the time comes to replace the filter. I worry that the security of the connection will diminish each time we do that… I don’t have another solution right now. It’s hard under the sink. The ugly: i will review the WAterdrop faucet at that item but the lack of an adapter to connect to that instead of the cold water main was very disappointing and frustrating. Required two parts to make the conversion, more joints increase risk of leak, but with the compression and reducer adapters, it’s all on. Seems short sighted in my opinion to not even provide options. What would have helped? Oh! Making the housing connection removable to make the connection to the faucet w one part. I realize this filter was not intended for the faucet though… Overall, after the routine frustrations with plumbing changes, it is in, works great, water is good, and it works on our well water. And it’s mostly not plastic.

Good filtration, fairly easy to install.
For years I paid someone to replace my sink filter and it cost a lot. I was able to install this myself, and the quality of the filtration is way better. I purchased the stainless steel version and like the looks and it is very sturdy. The water volume is good. I recommend it.

I love this water filter; no more water bottles in our house. The filters are convenient. But it's a little difficult to remove the protective cap and so see the markings to install it properly. It's quite expensive but the water tastes great.
