This shower head is AMAZING! Do not hesitate to order this if you have hard water. I just moved to a different state and the water in my new area is hard. My hair got so dry and felt like there was build up in it and my skin felt dry and itchy after taking a shower or bath. I am renting and did not want to spend a lot on a filter so I came across this. After a few showers my hair feels clean and soft again and my skin is no longer dry or itchy. As an added bonus the water flow is vastly improved and the different settings are an added bonus as are the 2 additional filters. It took minutes to install and I am NO home improvement expert. This is the BEST $25 I have ever spent. Do not hesitate to give this a try. You will not be disappointed.

With settings; half power jet/ gentle spray, pressure washer for your feet, & gentle water for a child. Really affective filter to make the water soft and remove impurities. Shower has to be cleaned or replaced if the hydrants are flushed. Shower nozzles wear out, so eventually you will have to replace it. Do that instead of buying extra shower filters. Compatible with 2nd shower filter adapter to double purify your shower water. I use the pressure washer & a loofah to keep my feet & toenails clean.

First of all, the claims that water pressure will not be reduced are exaggerated. This design features extra small laser-cut holes, which somewhat create the impression of increased water pressure, but the result feels more like a mist coming out or a soft spray than it does a good, steady stream of water. Therefore, in my opinion, the claims of increased water pressure are gimmicky and unrealistic. If you have low water pressure, you will continue to experience the same issues you've been accustomed to.I also think most of the experience a person has with this shower head will be subject to personal taste. I prefer a strong stream of water. This shower head did not do anything spectacular for me. I don't care for the spray effect it generates.Yes, there are three settings, but they are virtually the same. The water coming out changes pattern based on the setting, but the end result feels basically identical, so this is - again - gimmicky in my opinion.One positive I will mention... I do have low water pressure in my home and I did not notice any reduction in water pressure, so this is probably the first time I can say that I've encountered a filter that does not seem to reduce water pressure. That leaves me with other questions though... How well do these filters really work, if at all? Visibly, they are very small cartridges and not much to them. It seems (on appearance) that one would not get a very thorough filter performance, but I will leave that to another, more qualified individual's perspective. I did not officially test the water to gauge whether the water technically improved or not. I do always do a taste test with a new filter (even though these aren't probably intended for "drinking"), because everyone gets some water in their mouth while showering. I honestly couldn't tell much difference, but I certainly didn't experience any negative reactions. Water tasted fine and appeared to be clear.My conclusion is... meh... it's okay. I'm not a fan of the spray feeling these generate so I will likely end up getting a different head. But, for the price, it seems adequate enough perhaps and, as I said, the only filter I've tried thus far that did not present a noticeable reduction in water pressure. Of course, the spray sensation this creates tends to feel like low-pressure anyway (in my opinion) so it's hard to test. Compared to the spray setting on my original non-filtered head, it seems about the same pressure so that is why I am saying I am not detecting a big reduction in pressure.I works. It installs easy. No issues. Reasonably priced.

Less than FIVE MINUTES to install, AMAZING pressure (seriously... it's luxurious. Washes out the shampoo in two seconds), and SO AFFORDABLE!! If you are on the fence, just do yourself a favor and buy it already! I get so excited to shower now!After moving into a new apartment, I noticed my hair became very dry and brittle from the water we have. My hair stylist couldn't believe how damaged my hair was and recommended I buy a filtered shower head. I came across this one and was attracted by the very reasonable price. After installing it, I couldn't be more impressed how easy it was to put on, and the pressure/different settings are PERFECT! Only after a few washes... my hair was back to normal again! I couldn't believe it!We also had an issue where one of my roommates accidentally broke it trying to adjust it. I messaged the seller and they quickly responded and offered to send me a completely brand new unit. I am amazed by their customer service! You can buy this product with ease of mind. I love it!!!
