gestalten Two Years on a Bike: From Vancouver to Patagonia

Was looking forward to reading this and I enjoyed it. Some amazing pictures and some very good points. I enjoyed how he struggled at times on the journey and the writing here was very good. I was slightly disappointed he did not concentrate fully on the bike journey and instead a lot of his book was about the breaks he took and the women he had a relationship with. Its nice to have them in the book but just a bit less as half the book is about the breaks he took.Bit expensive as well.

Lovely book. However the first one sent was damaged and the box looked like it had been thrown around. The replacement was also in a damaged box and yes the book was also damaged. Not good enough for a book costing £30. Very disappointed as this was a present for my husband.

Watched Martian on YouTube and bought the book with an Amazon voucher I was given for my birthday. Now watching him restore stone buildings in the Italian Alps. He is a skilled photographer and narrator, his laid back attitude is calming and encouraging, maybe his other book for Christmas.

This is a beautiful book and should be a five star, but it came today and is damaged, probably because it was so poorly packaged, meaning it was loose in the box; it is a heavy book so will have moved around uncontained. I can see other people have had the same problem !

Didn't want the book to end, check out the youtube channel too. What an amazing journey. Would also highly recommend one year on a bike.
