Just what I needed for my daypack. Works great, its secure and easily accommodates my water bottle (that fits in my bikes water bottle cage)

When I backpack the need to quick access to some liquid refreshment is a basic necessity. I like packs that have side pockets that hold water bottles or simple water containers. However, on the trail, you have to be a contortionist to reach those bottles, eject them from the pocket, then after a swallow insert it back into the correct pocket. I found myself constantly asking someone else to "extract and replace" my water bottle.I carry 500 ml soft bottles that are easy to drink out of, compress and refill and weight little. My dream was to have simple access to a bottle without buying a thick water bottle holder. And though I love the Molle system, my pack shoulder straps are not prepared to accommodate a single Molle strap water bottle holder. I needed something light that could attach securely and not "bounce around", but would permit me easy access to life-sustaining water.This carrier is AMAZING. I love the solid but lightweight carabiner which clips right onto my pack strap ring and screws shut. The hook-and-loop flaps to keep the mesh container contained when not in use, work great to wrap around the strap of my backpack and solidly secure the carrier. Slip in a 500ml soft bottle and I am doing great. Bring on those switchbacks in the sun - I am ready!

Works good on backpack, but not as great on your belt; just a little weird with the velcro flaps hanging out. The mesh bottle holding part makes it good for various sized bottles. Fits a 700 ML Smartwater bottle easily and would probably fit a 1 L Smartwater but I don't have one to try. Bottles won't fall out due again to the mesh bag and also the draw string with plastic keeper.

I used this to keep a 4 piece fishing rod on the side if my backpack. I wasn't sure if it would work but it worked great. I haven't used it to hold a water bottle yet but I'm confident it would be up to the task.

Welll, sadly this did not hold my 500ml Microlite water bottle securely.The bottle was a tight fit in the mesh bag--which I thought was a good thing. I secured the drawstring closure as tight as it would close. Unfortunately, the second time I bent over to pick something up the bottle came out of the bag, crashed onto concrete and the lid shattered.Have ordered a new Microlite lid and won't rely on this bottle carrier again until I can figure out some additional way to secure a bottle in it.

I used this for a bottle holder on a a two week backpacking trip. It held its own. It held any bottle I put in it with out tearing or falling. The Molly straps and heavy duty carabiner held the mesh holder securely until I took it off two weeks after putting it on. I’m buying another one for sure. It’s mush more convenient then trying to reach into side pockets of my backpack.

After knocking over a full $14.00 beer at my local MLB stadium, I was searching for something to use as a beer holder. The seats I have are in the front of a section with a heavy wire grid fence, so I use the carabiner to clip the Bassdash Tactical Molle Water Bottle Pouch with Carabiner to the grid, and slip my $14.00 can of beer into the Pouch. Very handy and it prevents heartbreaking, and expensive, accidents. Highly recommended.

Ironically enough I had bought a cheaper pouch than this to carry a water bottle on the side of a pack I have and it was of better quality than this one.Bottle will out pretty easily unless it’s small enough to cinch above the lid which sucks.Buttons also come undone easily.The molle isn’t really molle it’s more so just two straps with a button, there’s no way to weave the straps in to secure the pouch.
