This is a great machine! Bought it in the fall last year to help with clearing up leaves etc. It's like an outdoor hoover - Works on almost any hard surface, easy to use, light to manage, hangs away on the wall when not in use and a great companion for keeping the garden and garage neat and tidy.

Really regret buying this, awkward to move around has to be carried to location. Then so much hit and miss with anything that it was asked to pick up. Didn’t seem to matter what size the leaves. Basically the same system as a road sweeper van that cleans by the kerb, no suction, just brushes to flick it into the hopper. I have gone back to using the outdoor very large dustpan and reed broom. Far faster and burns more calories.

While it's not a vacuum and won't replace one, it does an outstanding job at what it's designed for.First off, the sweeping performance of this tool is impressive. While it's not perfect, especially for fine dust, it excels in taking care of larger debris with ease.The large bin is a notable plus. It allows you to run the sweeper for a substantial amount of time before needing to empty it. This efficiency is a time-saver and allows you to tackle bigger cleaning tasks without frequent interruptions.I power this sweeper with a 5AH battery, and I must say, the battery life is exceptional. It lasts a surprisingly long time, which means fewer battery swaps and more work done on a single charge.I'm also pleasantly surprised by the durability of the brushes. After 10 hours of use, they show minimal signs of wear and tear, which suggests they'll last quite a while. This is great news for the longevity of the tool.The added convenience of easy folding for storage is a thoughtful touch. It allows for neat and compact storage, making it a practical addition to my Ryobi collection without taking up too much space.In conclusion, the Ryobi Sweeper is an impressive addition to my collection. While it won't replace a vacuum for fine dust, it excels at handling larger debris and makes quick work of tidying up. With a large bin, long-lasting battery life, durable brushes, and easy storage, it's a valuable tool for any Ryobi enthusiast. Ryobi R18SW3-0 18V. I needed a product that would sweep up debris from our old tarmac driveway around the house. The debris mostly consists of loose surface stones, soil, leaves, sticks etc. I searched and deliberated on several different models including the big petrol sweepers for some time. It was when this came at a discounted price I decided to go for it. I’m very glad I did as it has turned a two day job into a 4 hour job now. It does leave a small line of debris down the middle but it isn’t a big deal. I also use it in the workshop/stables for general tidying without issue. There are videos out there of how to get the best out of it which I would recommend viewing. Great bit of kit all round especially if you can get it on offer.

I use Ryobi tools all the time but this was a bit of a disappointment. Although powerful, it is not as effective as you would have thought. Back to manual sweeping! Returned and refunded.

Read lots of mixed reviews about this product and whilst it is not perfect (it does leave a middle line that you have to go back over and the emptying could be a bit easier) it is a damn site easier to use than a brush.I used to dread brushing the drive as it felt like a never ending task , now it is the cleanest it has been with very little effort. Great product

I really wanted to love this product but the reality is that it’s a lot of faff and effort for little reward. If the debris you’re sweeping up is small and very uniform it does an ok job of flicking it into the collection bucket. Bearing in mind there is no suction so you’re relying on a mechanical spinning brush action to flick the dust from one place to another! I wanted this to help clear up the copious amounts of leaves and foliage we get in our garden and this is where this failed completely. As soon as leaves enter the entrance to the dust container it simply clogs up so you spend most of your time removing the dust canister and using your hand to manually unclog the entrance area. You literally spend ages just allowing this thing to flick leaves around when in reality you could sweep them into a pile and pick them up with a shovel in a fraction of the time. Also if you put it in the highest setting using the dial, it drops down on its own. Simply can’t recommend this device for garden clean up.

Tried a couple of solutions for the tons of leaves and acorns I get on my putting green. I then came across this little machine and it it awesome. The first pic shows the putting green after one pass and the 2nd pics is of the completed job. Had to use a leaf sucker for the big leave but used the Ryobi for the small leaves, acorns and sticks. Very very easy to maneuver. So glad I found this thing.

Cuando compro una máquina espero que pueda funcionar al recibirla. No es el caso con la barredora de Ryobi: viene sin batería, a pesar de que sin ella no sirve para nada.Es cierto que el vendedor lo advierte antes de venderla, y que recomienda comprar ambas cosas juntas. Cosa que hice.Pero resulta que con la batería no viene el correspondiente cargador, así que una vez descargada la batería, la máquina vuelve a no servir para nada. Hay que comprar el cargador aparte, cosa de la que el vendedor ya no avisa.Aparte de eso, que es inaceptable, la máquina no sirve para limpiar caminos llenos de hojas -en Otoño, por ejemplo. Sí que sirve para limpiar la arenilla y los pequeños restos que quedan tras retirar las hojas con la escoba, y ese trabajo lo hace muy bien.
