Q: does it definitely play mp3 cds?

Nice looking thing plays cds but given it to my grandaughter as my hearing has become very bad

Q: Does this play normal cd’s? I’ve bought one for my son and he can’t get it to play his cd’s!

So far I have only played 2 CDs on mine without any problem after I have found how to switch from radio to CD settings. It reverts to radio if it has been unplugged. I like how it after being switched off when switch it back on it continues playing from where it was.

Q: Do you have to take the batteries out to turn it off? Can't find an "OFF" switch, to switch the whole thing off, therefore saving the batteries.

I don’t know, I thought the item was very poor quality had difficulty getting the thing to switch from radio to cd
