I bought this 2 times and it arrived in a box, no tears, no rips. The product is fresh considering it arrived to us half way across the world. Even then it has a great shelf life without going stale. Cooks beautifully in 10 min of simmer as a hot meal in the AM, without turning into mush. You can also soak it in hot water overnight and it will be ready to enjoy with butter, milk or any other hotmeal like toppings. Love it!
